SI gave us a D+. Worst grade in the draft, but they qualified it by saying this was strictly based on 2013 picks - not factoring in Gordon or the 2014 picks we added.
A bit of an unusual draft for the Browns, who landed an impact defender in OLB Barkevious Mingo at No. 6 and then picked just once more (CB Leon McFadden) in the next 167 selections. Cleveland did pick up a third- and fourth-rounder in 2014. Plus, remember, the Browns traded in this year’s second-rounder to get WR Josh Gordon in the 2012 supplemental draft. That Gordon gamble paid off and the Browns will have lots of choices in 2014. Strictly in terms of the 2013 draft, though, there’s not much to go on here — slightly disappointing for a team hoping to make big strides. Grade: D-plus

Agree with above, can't grade a draft right now, let alone after only one year.

Chill. We added alot of players this off-season.. some starters and some depth options. The draft doesn't stand alone. We added guys through free agency and a couple of trades. The team is better than it was last year. The addition of picks for next year is extremely valuable as it allows an entirely new coaching staff and FO to evaluate their team in their system. Young players will get a chance to prove they deserve a spot on the team, and needs will be identified. And with these additional picks, the needs can be addressed next year.

Here's a link to an up to date depth chart projection: http://www.ourlads.com/nfldepthcharts/depthchart/CLE

I'm sure well be able to address the secondary in secondary cuts once teams start signing draft picks.

But if the Pats did it he'd be talking about how smart they operate.

Lol actually watch a lsu game before you say stupid shit. He was assigned the read option almost every game and that is why his sack total is down. I like him as a way better player than ansah

pretty much. People need to watch the tape on these guys. Just like last year, my issue with brandon weeden was because the offense he ran and when you saw the highlights of Blackmon...they were great catches on terrible throws from weeden...lmao

I honestly think classyposter is the dumbest poster on this site. He has "footwedge syndrome." Whatever he says, the exact opposite happens, so we should take comfort in his post.

We are talking about the same guy here who said the 4 win Lions would have been a playoff team if a couple non key starters weren't injured. LOL. Stick to golf little guy.

Lets not forget, Gordon was our 2nd round pick, so just look at it as we drafted a 2nd rounder with already 1 year of experience. If they didn't do anything in FA, I could understand the QQing.
Teams find great players in the 4th and 5th round all the time.. It's as if these clowns were afrad the fans would turn on them for picking squibs here.

Hell, we traded for Bess...a dude who was undrafted out of Hawaii. The future is now...not 2015 for God's sake. Maybe they're figurin Haslam will be out of jail by then.

Lol stupidity just flows from the post. Bess is a proven guy who will help big time on 3rd down. So what you are saying since Tom Brady was drafted in the 6th round no team should give up more than a 6th round draft pick for him? Herp Derp

Point...way over your head. And I mean wayyyyy over your head. If you think was complaining about Bess...well then you're an idiot. My point is that if you can land a producer on someone undrafted (happens a lot in fact...Welcker anyone?), then you should draft players this year in the 4th and 5th round. Streak, learn to fuggin read before you rag. Ummmkay?

Was it your left nut making the playoff prediction after we were mathematically eliminated last December?
