Hey douchebag, stop offering me Jeremy maclin for Larry Fitzgerald. I can't stand people who want a Brees type player but will only part with like a #2 WR and some shitty bench player. If you don't want to part ways with one of your premier players don't fucking offer me retarded ass trades!!!

+1.

Cat offered me Colt McCoy for Tom Brady. He said "it was worth a shot."

I've never proposed or accepted a trade in FF. I build my team through the draft and use the waiver wire to supplement my team. Never understood the point of FF trades.

Then to be quite honest you are drafting for position not drafting best player available by tiers.

If you were, there would be some years that you would have an excess in say RBs, having at least 1 or 2 RBs that are really good but you can't start. So, you work a trade to get a top tier WR or QB.

For instance, my team's QB was Vick but I had 3 stud RBs and 3 stud WRs but can only start 2 of each. So, I traded Marshall and Vick for Brees and Bowe. Now I still start 2 stud WRs, 2 stud RBs and have the best QB in the game. It comes down to trading good bench players for better starters, that's how you should use trading in FF.

I just take the best available player, RB and WR first typically, by position. Seems to work out well when you throw in injuries and being aggressive on the waiver wire.

A guy just offered me Alex Green who I think is Green Bay's new running back and Brandon Lloyd for Marques Colston. I doubt Green runs that much and Lloyd seems to be too many targets deep on NE for me to give up Colston.

Whenever I get these ridiculous trade proposals I e-mail the trade proposer back "WTF, do you think I'm a girl or something?"

I can honestly say those trade offers don't happen in our league. Its a pay league that has been around since 1995 (back when scoring was done from the Monday Morning Papers).

The league's least experience FF guy has been playing for 6 or 7 years.

We do not allow teams that start doing bad to mail in the season (not setting lineups, etc). Not setting a valid lineup (with guys that will play) is grounds for getting kicked out of the league, even if your team is 1-11 (never happens, worst regular season record in our league is typically like 4-9 and best is like 9-4, always competitive).

You also are required (within reason, no one is missing their baby being born) to be at the draft and at the end of the year banquest in person. Extenuating circumstances (I was out of state for work during the draft one year) can be accomodated with Skype, but if you start missing 2 or 3 in a row and you will be booted from the league.

Being that it is that serious of a league, I have never seen these type of trade offers, and I have been in it for 8 years.

One girl in our league said I was trade rapping her when I offered Jamaal Charles for D. Thomas after Forte went down in week two. At that point I wasn't sure about Welker and she needed a starting RB.

Karma kicked in and her other RB, Spiller, went down.

Some guy offered kept offering me dumb trades so e-mailed him this...

Subject: You retarded?

Seriously fucking Brandon Stokely for Ray Rice? I'm 4-1 for a reason, and one of those is cause I don't do dumb ass trades like that. How about you come to me with a real trade that would actually be a considerable one. Shit like is the reason you're behind in the standings
