Maybe belly's gotten to the point of being able to slow life down, which is great. People do rush more nowadays, no doubt about that.
Belly eats slower than friends and even smokes cigars more slowly too.

The question is Belly thinks his friends are somehow wrong for not being as slow as himself.

I grilled for ten people last night. it was steaks, hamburgers, pork chops and chicken. I was very busy.

I did not keep track of the pace of anyone's eating. All that matters to me is that it was enjoyed. If the eaters are happy, so am I.

You guys stop making Belly mad. He might discontinue his daily thread making and that would make me sad!

I agree that Belly does a great job with threads. I just think he's wrong to assume that everyone must enjoy food in the manner he does.

He's annoyed by it, that's all. He just doesn't know, for some strange reason, how to say that.

I have a similar gripe: when I cook and people don't get to the table fast enough and the food gets cold sitting there. It's simple courtesy, but I'm not gonna make anyone go home or not invite them next time because of it. They just eat cold food. It's more with family members anyway.
