Teams involved...

Central Crossing
Dublin Scioto
Fairfield (of the Cincinnati sort)
Grove City
Groveport Madison
Hilliard Darby
Reynoldsburg
Pickerington North
St. Francis DeSales
Teays Valley
Valley View (of the 'Nati sort)
West Jefferson

This tournament will run with 4, 3-man pools, with each team receiving a bye in one of the first three rounds. The top two from each will be entered into a bracket with the other top teams from the other three pools.

The 4 teams that finish 3rd in their pools will be entered into a four-team pool together and wrestle the remaining three rounds.

Should be a great time!!!

Any thoughts...

I agree, very good tournament with many top notch kids. Teas Valley won semi with Fairfield and Pickerington North won semi with West Jefferson, not sure of the scores though. Congrats to PN, well earned 1st place.

DeSales never wrestle Darby, so Longwell and Wilson did not meet. However, Swaverly from GC wrestled Will (PN), Nace (TV) and Longwell (HD) and was able to beat all three. Had they had an MVW, he'd a been it. Very good showing for him.

Redfern looked light on his feet and gaining his movement from what he had over the summer. I like what I saw. He and a couple of lightweights were impressive to me.

The coaches over there are doing alright.
