I don't know if like_that was planning on doing any power rankings but here are mine:
  1. 49ers- Their defense looks even better than last year. Alex Smith continues to be a little bit more than just a game manager this year.
  2. Pats- Tom Brady looks just as good as ever and their defense looks as if he might even be able to take some pressure off the offense this year.
  3. Texans- Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson are healthy and as long as they stay that way this team could make it to their first super bowl.
  4. Ravens- They may be old but that defense still looks damn good. Maybe Flacco really does believe he is the best QB in the league the Ravens will need him to play like it if they ever want to get into a super bowl.
  5. Bears- With that defense and Culter and Marshall reunited this team might win the division.
  6. Falcons- Maybe this is the year Matt Ryan finally gets a playoff game win.
  7. Packers- You will rarely ever win a game by rushing 9 times Aaron Rodgers can’t do everything, defense will have to step it up too or else it will be one and done again in the playoffs.
  8. Cowboys- O-Line is still an issue but Tony Romo is making plays. Murray looks just as good before he was injured last year and that secondary looks like maybe it finally is fixed.
  9. Broncos- Peyton Manning looked pretty sweet in an orange jersey again.
  10. Giants- Secondary is killed by injuries and Eli Manning just doesn’t look as good without a healthy Hakeem Nicks.
  11. Eagles- This team will live or die with Michael Vick and not just if he can stay healthy. Also McCoy needs to get the ball more.
  12. Steelers- Big Ben still running for his life just like he runs after girls in bathrooms. They also need Mendenhall back at RB.
  13. Lions- Stafford cannot be turning the ball over that much and this team still looks undisciplined as last year.
  14. Saints- I didn’t think they would miss Sean Payton that much but it is clear they do. Also Sproles has got to get more than 9 targets/touches a game.
  15. Jets- It was only against the Bills but Sanchez and the offense looked good and their defense is still one of the best in the league.
  16. Chargers- Maybe this time if they start out hot they will continue it during mid season Norv Turner needs to at least make the playoffs or he could be out of a job.
  17. Redskins- They got a great win in the Superdome but I’m still not a believer in them or RG3.
  18. Cardinals- Kevin Kolb led them to a win and now gets another shot at being the starter.
  19. Bengals- This team did not look like a playoff team on Monday night could we see a sophomore slump for both Andy Dalton and AJ Green resulting in the Bengals underachieving again?
  20. Bucs- The offense wasn’t pretty but the defense didn’t allow a lot of points and they started the season 1-0.
  21. Chiefs- Defense should have an easier time this week against Buffalo. And they will need to do better because this offense won’t put up a ton of points.
  22. Titans- Jake Locker is a tough guy and I love his attitude. Hopefully his receivers can get healthy. Chris Johnson is another story has he really fallen off this badly?
  23. Panthers- That might have been one of the worst rushing performances I have ever seen and yet they still were in the game.
  24. Vikings- AP looks healthy and against will be the bright spot on this team. Defense will have to step it up if they want to move forward.
  25. Seahawks- O-line is supposed to be something they can rely on but this past Sunday that didn’t happen. It will have to get better if they want to be playoff contenders this year.
  26. Raiders- McFadden is healthy and the team has some other young playmakers maybe in a few years it will all come together for them.
  27. Rams-Defense played solid but their offense needs a lot of work namely on the offensive line and Sam Bradford needs a big time playmaker WR.
  28. Jags- Blaine Gabbert didn’t look terrible actually he played pretty good. The holdout doesn’t look like it has affected MJD either.
  29. Bills- I thought Fitzpatrick and this Defense were supposed to be better this year but they looked terrible and with Fred Jackson out for at least a month this team does not look good.
  30. Browns- Every rookie the Browns picked in the draft this year looked terrible maybe in time they will get better because it would be shame to waste this season with the defense they have.
  31. Dolphins- Reggie Bush might not even lead his own division in rushing. This whole team just looks putrid.
  32. Colts- Defense and running game are still terrible in Indy some things just never change.

Chicago's defense is not that good. Their secondary is awful. I don't think they'll make the playoffs.

Aaron Rodgers is not going to honor a bet that he made with a member of Boyz II Men.

Why is Aaron Rodgers making bets with members of Boyz II Men?
Because Boyz II Men had Rodgers backed into a corner and he felt it was the "End of the Road?"

Cutler - did you see the Ravens game? The Browns offense may be as good as some high schools but their D is legit.

Idk I may go with Dalton...no Haden, AJ Green will absolutely go off. Cutler is in Lambeau, so not an easy game.

Mine: RG3 @ STL or Schaub @ JAX

I'd say Cutler too. Dalton isn't bad and will get better but Cutler is better and going against a lesser D. I'm not sure why GB's D isn't better than they are but the Browns' D is pretty good.

I'd go with Cutler too. Not in that I think the Browns have any kind of "shutdown D" as much as I think Marvin Lewis will be smarter than Andy Reid. Reid has a hard on for the pass. If he was smart(er) he would've fed the Browns porous run defense a heavy dose of Shady McCoy early and often. I think Marvin will see this and the Browns will see a lot of BJGE hence cutting into Dalton's passing production.

BJGE isn't even close to being as good as McCoy.

Doesn't matter...Browns run D is a sieve. As long as he can walk upright he'll go for 100, at least.

Cutler has always been garbage against the Packers. And pretty much in general, but especially against the Packers.
