Interesting that the Puddle decides to make changes at the same time that this site has decided to act on the idea that an alternative to the police state that was the Puddle does not necessarily have to be nearly total anarchy. Coincidence on the timing? Maybe.

I'm not sure why some apprear to believe that any positive change "over there" must mean a decline here. While life is too short not to forgive jerks, that doesn't mean I need to forget that I (and a whole bunch of others) was treated in an extremely shabby and disrespectful manner. I wish them no ill will, but I won't be returning there.

What I got out of it is posters will have the chance to choose between which free site they want again, with the implication that they will drop their fee away. So no one is actually voting persay, though they may be with their feet by leaving here.

Exactly. This is about the 5th time in their existence they've come off with some nice guy thing to try to make amends, then it's back to their same old bullshit over there in 6 months.

See I don't think so. Why go there for HS sports and here for the same 20 people insulting each other repeatedly? If you're going to go back there for HS sports, I think most people will post in the Sports/Trivia forum over posting on here.

Disagree. Until recently, I might have agreed with you, but now that it appears that the noisemakers are being dealt with, the quality of discussion on the Serious Business forum is far better than the trivia forum over there ever was.

I'm not interested enough in local HS sports to banter back and forth about it on a message board, so I won't venture over there. However, I do agree that those who are interested may stay over there for all the forums, and maybe only come back occassionally to check in.

It would be interesting to see DA put a "private" poll up asking the question as to what this sites members would do if JJHuddle went free again and started regaining their site traffic.

If all but 10 regulars left this site, I would be most of you saying you wouldn't go back would change your opinion. You may re-register with a different username and never admit who you are...but I would be you'd go back.

And again, that is why our fearless leader needs to find some way to counter what JJHuddle may be on the verge of doing.

I will truly miss being called a *** and being mocked for my drunken breakdown and suicide threats if this site goes away. Seriously, the insults and banter is fun. That wont happen over there.
