Last I checked Kakos (16/126), Straughter (14/120), Penzone(12/120) Lucas (25/120) all made Brakeman report this year. Plus they are always biased to NE Ohio anyways.

The cream of the crop will rise in states - The Giants were 9-7 and once again beat the Patriots. Paper is paper. 6 minutes determines who gets their hand raised.

Should Penzone win the district I see him on the podium. Mullucey and Straughter are both at that level too, honestly.

Brakeman said it himself, our district is going to be on the rise in years to come. Heck, we have two guys at 138 who could be state finalists who will meet in our district semi-finals! Darby is no joke, and I'm pretty sure teams like Marysville and Olentangy are going to show it.

I have to say Central Ohio wrestling is improving by a great amount. Over the next few years you will see alot more kids from Central Ohio on the top of the podium at the schott. With guys like Jimmy Edwards, Randy Simpson, and Miron putting on great clubs all the time these kids have every opportunity to get to that next level. Plus with Ohio State right in our own backyard that helps too. Not to mention all of the Great coaches in the central district and all of their staff! There is a lot of hometown support to help get these kids to that State Champion level.
