it's hard to explain it in type. so i'll try to explain it the way i saw it. i didn't think it was a kimora either but by the time wilson hit the mat that's what had happened. mccurdy had wilson's right arm/wrist and was hopping trying to avoid being tripped. when wilson finally did get mccurdy off balance, they both fell to the right and they went to the mat, wilson's right arm went up behind his back. i thought wilson's shoulder was dislocated and i could barely watch. he was in a lot of pain. this happened so fast it took me a minute to figure out what had just happened. that's why i was saying mccurdy didn't do anything illegal and should have never been considered for disqualification.Cthelites;1090233 wrote:How do you hit a kimora from defending a single?

on another note...the officiating was not the best i've ever seen. i expect better next week.

some of the refs were terrible! that ref should be experianced enough to know the potential of the situation. i will probably get some heat for talking bout the refs but, a few were really bad.
Well, Since they will see each other in the semis, the loser of the match will drop down and have to win another match to qualify for the state, hopefully they win that, then that loser has to wrestle for 3rd and 4th if he loses, and they are 1 and 4 at districts they will be on the same side at states... it was more theoretical... they will probably be 1st and 3rdDad4Sports;1090190 wrote:Must be dense this morning.....I'm not following you?

Okay, I've got a good idea of how it looked now, once you hit the mat its definetly a Kimura (or ke-lock as VinceD posted). I think the refs totally biffed on not seeing it, obviously it was a potentially dangerous situation prior to...and mccurdy was hopping all over the mat holding on trying to avoid the trip. I'm not trying to beat a dead horse either, but I don't want to hear anyone say mccurdy did something dirty or intentional. He shouldn't have been dq'd for it. There is going to be some good wrestling this weekend at Darby and as a parent I am just glad to see mine get a chance to bring the family name down to Central Ohio from Northwest Ohio.
I think 120 is ridiculous - wow the talent at this weight class is mind blowing. If I have to predict - my guess is Penzone or Rooney walking away with the title.
