Love and the #2 for Gasol would be terrible for Minny.

They would get a player who obviously wouldn't wantto play for them.

It's Minny. They drafted 3 PGs in one draft.
Not only did they pick all those point guards, they passed up on all sorts of talent to pick them. Jonny Flynn really is a head scratcher for me

I kind of want it to happen just to see what Bill Simmons writes about it.

Soooo let's just imagine it happens....

If the Cavs take Irving(which is a given IMO), who does LA take?

I'd assume either Williams or possibly Knight?

I wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers tried to flip the pick. If they didn't I see them picking Williams

I like reading the Draft Diary as much as I like watching the draft

Good call. Slipped my mind that they would be getting Love.

Although can't have enough bigs out in LA. Especially since Bynum is made of glass.

If they make the Love-Gasol trade, I almost would bet they trade down at the very least. Maybe the Cavs could get involved by offering the 4th and some other pieces

Wildcat/TrueBlue, help me out here.

PG-Fisher, Knight, Blake
SG-Kobe, Brown
SF-Artest, Barnes, Walton
PF-Love, Odom
C-Bynum, Darko

http://www.hoopsworld.com/Story.asp?story_id=20184 Link says Darko would be thrown into the deal too.

I don't know who would be around next year, but...

Ebanks, Caracter, Joe Smith, Theo, and Trey Johnson were all on the roster(not all active obviously).

Ebanks and Caracter would be in dress clothes, Smith and Ratliff are FA's(if FA ever happens).

Knight would help them out a whole whole lot.

Fisher really hurts them come playoff time. He cant guard his shadow

But itd be real hard to pass up Williams

lol...true!

I never believe any of these rumors that are right up against the drafts or trade deadlines. It seems like the deals always fizzle and the only deals that happen...come from out of no where.

Yeah that always does seem to be the case. Im not sure how crazy the trades will be with this new CBA in the near future(hopefully near future)
