I'm curious how Conrad is doing? That will definately help to fill the line-up when he returns.

Conrad Rosch is chomping at the bit to get back on the mat. Everthing still points to an early January return....FXSTC12 wrote:Dad4Sports - Canal had a pretty solid showing.Dad4Sports wrote:

Very nice comments indeed stuff!thestuff142 wrote:
Don't let the final dual scores fool you..there were good individual matches going on in all of our duals. 140 was a nice weight. The Scioto 140 kid was very tough at that is who we voted for MVW. Would like to see the Davidson team again, but at full strength. Lil Disabato is a stud...gee didn't see that coming did you. Love the cage fighter gear they were all rockin'. They had some very nice kids that are only "supposed" to be back ups. Someone forgot to send that memo to those kids. I would say that they were the toughest "group" that the Harrison team faced as a whole. We were also hoping to face Marysville as they have a few podium quality studs that we wanted our better guys on the mat with. Darby had some tough kids as well. 103 and 112 especially. We did not know much about them collectively coming in and they wrestled very hard to the final whistle in the finals.
I look forward to watching the Central District Teams compete the rest of the way. Might see a couple more at Medina in a week or so.

The 2009-2010 Darby Varsity Wrestling Team took 2nd place at the Central Ohio Duals held at Marysville High School! Darby won their pool by beating Mt. Vernon, Marysville (ranked as high as 4th in the State in some polls and is a State Duals qualifying team), Marion Harding, and Springboro (also a State Duals qualifying team). The Panthers were led by Sophomore 160lber, Tyler Bowens (4-0), Freshman 103lber, Devon Booth (5-0), Junior 215lber, Sufyan El-Geroushi (4-1), and Freshman 112lber, Jake Donatelli, who went 4-1 including a match winning pin against Marysville.
