That means that Lancaster bumped up their schedule immensely. Last season they were not in Marysville or Medina... Plus, the Wazie is not what it once was. I agree about the Austintown Fitch tourney (The Hepner), it is good. I know Lancaster went there a couple years ago, I did not know they still went.
The schedule you listed is much better than I anticipated because Lancaster has never had a schedule that tough. I guess that just makes this situation between Coffman and Lancaster even closer.

As far as city league teams go none will have the power to make district level noise next season, but watch out for Michael Patrick from Marion Franklin next season. Hes a real hot and cold kinda guy but when hes on he can give anyone fits. almost upset SQ Hughes in the first round of districts last year.

You dont think Hendricks from Centinenial, Mills from Mifflin, or Gusan from Walnut Ridge (took 6th at districts) will make any noise

Top Teams I look for Marion Franklin and Centennial to be ahead of the rest if injury free.

Some kids I think will do well thru the season and can maybe do something come the post season
James McGuire Briggs if he puts in summer work he could make a real jump
Stanley Hendricks Centennial if things line up right maybe District placer
Derek Evans Centennial if he heals up solid kid that can win in the post season
Dalton Kessler West another that needs to work in the offseason and can make it to districts
Anthony Stockton West raw but coachs do a good job with there upper weights should make it to districts
Alec Mills Mifflin could go very far he has talent and can win hope we will see about that at District level
Louis Baker Mifflin I have seen him only once but friends say good things about him
Michael Patrick Marion Franklin very raw kid that I am sure will come along nicely next year
Travis Gusan Walnut Ridge strong kid maybe the best chance of any to make it to State if he puts in the time.

I am sure there are alot of kids I overlooked but these kids are the ones I know about good luck to all the city kids hope they hit the mats this summer and turn some heads in Feb.2012.

All the guys mentioned are very good, and they do all have potential. I was just saying that team wise, the city isnt ready to compete on a district level and just felt like giving Patrick some credit while im at it,

As far as teams in the city: Marion Franklin is losing Jones and a couple other seniors, Mifflin is losing Kenley and a couple seniors, Centinenial not sure what they are losing but i do know that Mifflin and Centinenial had some key injuries which they are getting back so i think it will be a close 3 way race at top.

Looks like Marion Franklin will be D-2 in wrestling the new numbers just came out they are at 350 so that would put them at D-2.

Some teams will be moving around but not alot looks like Hartley goes back to D-3 and Olentangy moves back up to D-1 now we can start to look at how the District really shapes up.

City League kids need to decide to be good. There have been plenty of opportunities for off season wrestling at many schools that a lot of city kids have not taken advantage of. Until then, city league will be, I guess... Just city league.
