I've been following politics since junior high school (late 60's/early 70's). I can honestly say I've never seen this country more polarized politically. In fact some would argue we haven't been this polarized since the Civil War. I work side-by-side with liberals with no issues but the moment politics is discussed, it gets very heated. Most American conservatives i talk to respect my beliefs, just like most liberals i know, like myself, respect conservative beliefs. We can agree to disagree, definitely.
