Multiculturalism not working … or is Islamism the problem

Is this something all Americans should take notice of…… ?

Growing up in the Projects (low income public housing) we had many cultures in a given area.
Living in somewhat harmony, Project people all had one thing in common …. We are from the Project and I have your back…

Lets face the truth OC.. We all know areas that we should not go at times (if you didn’t live in the Project you got the hell out before dark) and we all know that some culture have taken their culture an welcome the community to enjoy their foods, crafts and entertainment.

But the following articles seem to indicate a different level of problems incurring …

No but it goes very far in determining how they view multiculturalism and how they would fit or this case not fit in a multicultural society. It will end in segregationism just as is has all over Europe. I have friends in the UK and hear about the issues regularly. They came in quietly at first but as numbers rose so did the boldness until it became segregated communities just as the video shows. Very often violent segregation with hardcore Sharia law prevailing.

I think every group has issues when they first come to a new area. My dad tells stories about how they didn't like Italians when he was a kid because they were different. I assume German village is in Columbus because the Germans were more comfortable being around people who were similar. It takes time for every one to get used to living together. It's not a new "problem."

Well, in the case of the youtube video that Belly posted: focused mainly in France, I would have to say that that is Frances fault. Firstly for letting things get so far out of hand before trying to reign in the problems. Then after putting in place laws that would curb problems, for not enforcing them. I mean... at some point you've got to be all in or all out, not pussyfooting around.
..................

Hobbit, did you dad tell you stories of how even the police, firefighters and ambulances wouldn't even go to certain sections of a town/city because of fear?
That's a whole 'nother level, don't you think?
................

When I went to England this past October, I didn't witness any of that besides the usual assortment of folks seen at airports. I stayed mostly at the family home and surrounding park/land. Most of my time was spent meeting and getting to know alot of my relatives there and attending a garden party lol. In the next couple of years I hope to spend about a month there and then perhaps I'll be able to study and observe this a little more. I think it will be fascinating.

Is an observer of a religion that inspired the Crusades really throwing stones? Belly, like your political views, you tend to blanket individuals under one melded viewpoint. There is a beautiful world of diversity out there, take a moment to enjoy it instead of dropping constant labels. Just my two cents.

No Apple, Christians are all wonderful people and if some people who call themselves Christian do bad things you can't classify the whole group as bad.

But all Muslims want to kill all of us for being American. That's just how it is.

Deuteronomy 7:1-2

When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations . . . then you must destroy them totally. Make no treaty with them, and show them no mercy.

Exodus 35:2
For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death.

Leviticus 20:9
If anyone curses his father or mother, he must be put to death.
20:10 If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife—with the wife of his neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.

from what I have studied in religion..what the United States sees of the Islamic religion is a very small % of what it actually is.

I don't think you can really call this narrow minded when most European countries have admitted that it failed. They riot and things in France all the time. It isn't a secret that this stuff is going on. Open your eyes.

Funny, no mention of the idiot wanna be "Christian" that burned the Qur'an last month that led to the riots.
If this idiot "pastor" wouldn't have burned the Qur'an there would have been no riot. Yet, no mention of that from Belly. Not a surprise.

There was already a thread/partial thread about that where it was hashed and rehashed over.

I guess it could be brought up again, for those who didn't read it the first time. During the Cultural Center thread, I believe.
If you thought that it brings bearing up in this thread, why didn't you?
Or was it that you were offended at Belly's post in particular and had to make your own "counter" point?

Well, the riot wasn't over the "preacher's" threat to burn the Qur'an last September, but the result of him actually burning the Qur'an last month. Yeah, the "pastor" actually went through with it. That is what set off the riot. It's an important part of the story, and evidence that this idiot down in Florida is causing more harm that good.

Yes, those people should not have rioted, but without the burning there is no riot.
From the AP, bottom of the page: http://www.cbs12.com/news/afghanistan-4731736-protesters-quran.html

More rioting today thanks to this idiot.

Come on.

No offense but go try to be a Christian or Jew ESPECIALLY if you are trying to spread either religion in any fully Islamic nation. Don't kid yourself into thinking this is only in Ethiopia.

So are you justifying the riots because of a burnt holy book?
