I am doing my own variation of it. I don't get as complicated as some of the recipes. It has worked very well as I have lost 26 pounds since starting in January. I have done P90x along with the diet. My typical foods are below.
Baked Chicken breast rubbed in olive oil or coconut oil 250 for 90 or less minutes
Baked Sweet Potatoes - Not technically Paleo but this is one of my deviations, I don't eat every day.
Raw Carrots – lots of them
Ham, sometimes I spread almond butter on a thick slice and eat it cold or just heat it up
Steak - Usually T-Bone, I don't spring for the expensive grass feed stuff, I get TBones and Rib eyes for free from the family farm
Lean Hamburger - Same as above
Asparagus
Almonds, Hazelnuts
Paleo bars - go to
www.paleoplan.com check their sample recipes and they have a recipe for paleo candy bars. Good stuff.
Egg Whites + Protein (usually shrimp or Ham) in the morning
Spinach Salads with oil and vinegar dressing usually with eggs or egg whites and some type of protein
