If there is one thing I’ve learned about coaches who do projections, it is that if the coaches who filled them out did so anonymously, one could rather easily pick out which coach filled out which bracket. All that to say, if I’m wrong on a GM kid... Sue me.
The skinny...
No rhyme or reason, just going by first glance.
And! If your name, or your kid’s name, is not on this list, as I’ve said MANY times, please, please, for you or your kid’s sake, prove me wrong! I will not mind at all. Set your goals high and reach them!
Also, skin scratches, not making weight and upsets and/or injuries happen. That’s the reality. It is why we wrestle the matches.
Good luck to everyone and see you Saturday.

1. Pickett (CC) vs. Brown (WC) will be in the final. Forget what I’ve said about 125, 130 and 152. This is going to be one tremendous match. Personal opinion, of course.

1. Cousins (WN) vs. McNabb (WC). If they’ve faced each other before, and it was a straight decision, then I’m going with the guy that lost that meeting. However, if a major, tech. or pin occurred, I’ll go with the previous winner. Kind of cheap, I know, but that is how I’ve chosen to do it.

3. Yun Kang (OO) ...because I dig his name. (Not as cool as Chet Bizzle, but certainly cool.)
4. Deantre’ Miller (MF) (The coach know Tai Chi.)
There you have it. Or should I say, in my Clint Eastwood-esque impersonation, “Read’m and weap.”
Also, stop bothering me.
