So I'm in first place but with the trade deadline approaching quickly and teams around me getting better I decided to improve as well.

I'm loaded at running back with Steven Jackson, Arian Foster, Darren McFadden, and Jamaal Charles so I figured I could get something good for one of those guys. I decided to bolster my WR core which includes Brandon Lloyd, Marques Colston, Hines Ward, and Dwayne Bowe.

I sent Charles and Colston to the worst team in the league (though I happen to play him this week) for Andre Johnson. I figured it was a risk worth taking even though Andre's been banged up this year and hasn't been fantastic. Now I can trot out Lloyd, Johnson, and either Bowe, Ward, or Johnny Knox depending on matchup. I also still have a pretty good RB core of Jackson, Foster, and McFadden. Did I make a good trade or should I have stayed put?

I like it.

I like it too. He will eventually get healthy and be huge for you come playoff time.

my question is...how the fuck did you get all of those guys on one team? was your league drunk during the draft?

Those guys coming into the year weren't really rated that high. Most of them have just had really good seasons. I mean here is where those guys went in the OC draft and its not like all of us are a bunch of idiots: Jackson- 16th, Foster- 76th, McFadden- undrafted, Charles-46th, Lloyd-undrafted, Colston- 42nd, Ward-55th, Bowe-45th, Knox- 103rd.Also going back and looking at some leagues Im in these guys were drafted in similar spots in those leagues as well.

Im going to guess he probably took Charles and Closton/Ward higher than what they went in the OC league. But I'd say it would have been pretty easy to get those guys if you took chances/guys fell.

You pretty much hit in on the head. I had the 10th pick in a 10 team league. I took Jackson-Peyton Manning in the first two rounds. I grabbed Colston and Charles in the next two. Foster, McFadden, and Knox went pretty late to me. Lloyd I picked up in free agency. I've just gotten pretty lucky with some picks.

I probably over looked it but from what I saw yeah he went undrafted which I agree would be werid.
