I know that Teays, Marysville, Davidson, Coffman, Pick North, and Darby always have a good showing. Are there any other sleeper (Gahanna for example) that could have a shot at the title?

Is Central Crossing in the hunt as well? Bringing back Pickett, Hauber, Hysell, and Hardy after the levy failure disbanded them, and incoming freshman including Wimer.

Mark this down... Olentangy Liberty is the team to beat in a dual meet.

As for the District tournament, I think it may be a bit early to tell, but Davidson has my (way too early) vote. I think Pickerington North, Gahanna, Marysville, the aforementioned Olentangy Liberty Marinellis, Lancaster, as well as Darby will fair very well too...

Also, don't discount Dublin Coffman. Their coach is kind of smart.

I think Dublin Scioto will be the worst team in the area. :D ;)

+1
The Patriots are good at every weight (maybe even great at a couple of them), experienced (wrestling all summer at places like New Albany, Circleville, Disney, and Virginia Beach), and very, very well coached.

Groveport Madison

103 - Nobody
112 - Nobody
119 - Freshman
125 - Maybe a kid
130 - A kid
135 - A kid, but a different one from 130
140 - We might have a junior here, but it could also be a sophomore
145 - TBD
152 - Undecided
160 - Should have a senior here
171 - Junior
189 - Junior
215 - Currently injured but will be back soon Junior
285 - Senior if he doesn't drop to 215

Overall, this could be the best team we've had in a while. However, we'll have to put our singlet on, one leg at a time, just like everyone else. We're going to try to take it one match at a time, but with the schedule we have, it could be tough. Five duals in one day with Graham, Eds, Moeller and Wadsworth, followed up with the Ironman, then to North Canton Hoover, followed by Brecksville can be intimidating. But when you follow that up with the Kevin Cleveland Memorial, Top Gun and then our own tournament??? Relentless to say the least. Hopefully, if we have any kids left, we'll peak at just the right time in order to win this year's state tournament. We watched "Vision Quest" to close out March Matness, hopefully that'll be the boost we need. If not, you can guarantee we'll be watching "Reversal" come mid-February!!!

Hope to see everybody soon, and again, be sure to get the final results on here for any and all tournaments!

And I'm sure, as bitterrunner-up will point out, that is only if we decide to wrestle!

Not to mention the fact that, even though all this looks good on paper, we know matches are wrestled on paper. They are wrestled on G-MAX approved, ASTM F355 compliant, foam core, protective and decorative wrapped mats, provided in 35'x35', 38'x38' or 40'x'40' dimensions (check with YOUR local Resilite provider to see which mat works BEST for your team).

Not to open up that discussion again, but did you see that Heidelberg's starting 197-pounder is a true freshman that was something like 1-22 as a freshman in high school?

I think reynoldsburg will look good this year, returning guys like Chang, Straughter and Hoover, they wont exactly be "the school to beat" but they will definitely be competetive in my opinion

Teas valley looks good as always along with Marysville, Liberty, and Pick north, those woukd be the "schools to beat "IMO!

We'll have to get together...Thanksgiving weekend there's a big scrimmage at Whitehall, maybe I'll see you there? Although, I'm walking around at about 155, so I think our days of rolling are probably over.
