Because of a typo, I had like 6 people bring it up, like I said whoop-de-doo. And you're entirely naive if you think the Cleveland Clinic doesn't have a vested interest in the funding of a local college. I mean did the experiment kill cancer cells? Sure, but is it a cure for cancer? Absolutely NOT.
Well if Cleveland State fell into the lake tomorrow, they'd still be able to work with the best university in the city, and maybe the state, Case Western Reserve University. So your conspiracy theory is extremely flawed. Besides, the Cleveland Clinic doesn't need any university, they are one of the best hospitals in the world.
Case Western has nowhere near the resources of The Ohio State University, I don't buy the "we're private, so we're better". Ohio State can go out and buy the best professors, the best technology, the best anything, Case Western can go out and, well do none of that LOL
But of course, like I said, if you truly believe that this is a credible news story with no other motive, then that's okay, more money for me. =)
