Hell no. Like a fool..he's probably trying to get a degree in engineering or something. You know engineers won't ever amount to anything.

Sounds way too suspicious to be from someone outside. I would concur with those that have suggested that you question those who have the easiest access to your place. For example, are you sure everyone in your place at the time of the incident were "asleep"? When my wife and I were younger we used to leave our house open when we would run down to the store or some other location close by for a few minutes, and no, we were very fortunate that we never had anything stolen, but these days we make very sure that everything is locked up tight when we go out, plus we have always had dogs and that helps a great deal. Sorry about your loss.

ehh. i know the conspiracy theory is popular, but there have been way to many break ins around this area to start pointing the finger at people ive been living with for 3 years.

i went ahead and claimed my losses on my renters insurance. the only thing that bothers me is the fact that my friends playstation got stolen and i really dont have any way of helping the kid out.

I keep all my dvds on my external harddrive(i.e. i download them or rip them to it). I can still watch them via xbox and shit, but there's nothing to steal unless they can find where I hide it. Which wouldn't be too hard if you knew to look for it.

Friend of mine had her apartment in German Village broken into this afternoon.

Ridiculous amounts of reports on 13th and also Lane Ave in the past week. ~3-4 per day

Being a friend of Tcarrier's and living directly across the street, its still crazy to me that this happens. We always lock our door, but at the same time we are on the third floor of our apartment so idk if that would make it safer or not. Atleast Tcarrier's 42" flatscreen is still in their living room!
