I'm very down on the Browns. I know, I know...every year it's going to be different. I bought in this year. After yesterday, I decided I'm not wasting another beautiful fall afternoon inside watching this train wreck. A day of NFL football inside yesterday was one of the most depressing experiences I've had in awhile. Every game looks exactly the same.
Blistered for over 300 yards by a third-string rookie QB on the road. Mindboggling. If that doesn't get somebody fired, nothing will.
I believe the Haslams are the problem. Culture starts at gff by e top and theirs is a losing culture.

I expect Stefanski, if he's still around, to open up the offense and throw even more. Problem is that last time Watson played with a shitty defense I'm pretty sure he had a career numbers year yet the team went 4-12.

Not sure what game you watched but this was FAR from on the defense. Defense held Lamar in check.
This was a "can't use a legit offense because you have a shitty journeyman QB running the show" type of game. Other than money, still scratching my head why they dumped Case Keenum for this one read joker.

Even with a shitty QB, the drive where we ran both Chubb and and Hunt, we went right down the field and looked like a different team. It's so frustrating to have one of the best backfields in the league and no clue how to use them.

That Bears game REALLY pissed me off last night. They did whatever they needed to do to win. Do I think that teams like Atlanta, NYJ's, Chargers & Ravens are better than the Browns? No, but they do whatever it takes to win.
I don't hate analytics but the Browns brass won't do whatever they need to do to win. They stay within their guardrails and don't deviate. If the analytics say "don't run Nick Chubb more than 24x's in a game" if they need a yard to seal that victory, and Chubb has 24 carries, Kareem Hunt is getting the ball. Do they want to win? Sure but it's gotta be their way. Will stick to their analytics even if it means taking the "L." If the analytics say "don't pick up a perennial All-Pro defensive tackle to help fix your run defense if he's over 30 years old" they won't deviate. It has to be THEIR way so they can prove that they're the smartest. Their smugness will earn them pink slips.
Oh, and just to show you PFF's value, the Browns should be 6-1 according to their "adjusted scoring analytics." SMDH
The PFF part makes sense. I think they were the better team, play to play, in every game but the Pats.

Exactly. I believe maybe 2-3 may have been legit which is still 2-3 too many. The rest were money grabs.
Also some texts followed from this last "victim" that she'd "never accuse him of anything" and that she'd "love to fall in love with him."
