Dorsey & Goettelman (Giants GM) are masters at this stuff. Everyone is guessing. Dorsey knew about 3 weeks before the draft they were going up for Mahomes and somehow it didn't leak. Had that have been a previous Browns regime, it would've been leaked and the Cardinals would've leapfrogged the Browns for Mahomes (assuming the Browns wanted him in that scenario).
BTW....the brown tie thing was tongue in cheek.
That’s exactly why I think the pick is either Rosen or mayfield and I’m really leaning towards Rosen. I saw an interview with the bills GM and he was asked about trading up or what the browns are going to do and he basically said no one in the league know what the hell the browns are doing at 1. And everyone is waiting on the browns at this point to make moves and such. If the pick is in fact Rosen, Dorsey has done an absolutely great job of playing the rest of the league.

I have seen a couple of these reports and they all cite MKC. If you are not familiar she is the biggest hack of them all. You have to be desperate for clicks if you are recycling MKC material.

I’m starting to think it plays out like this:
If the right QB is there, I think Cleveland plays Buffalo and Denver against each other, but ultimately goes Denver, even if they offer less because they want Chubb.
I could see this happening if all 3 QBs are taken 1, 2, and 3 as well, but less likely as Denver and Buffalo probably won’t have a bidding war at that point (if they both don’t like the QB left...Allen).

At least there's some suspense to it I guess. I always hated when they announced Wednesday night who the #1 pick would be.
Supposedly per Sam Wyche, Hue has now seen the draft board and Haslam has signed off. We all know Hue likes to leak things so who knows.

Yeah, NFL Network's Steve Wyche was in Berea all day. Confirms what iclfan2 said. Haslam signed off and blabbermouth Hue supposedly now knows all of the top guys, at each position, on their draft board. Wyche was asked who he thought would be the pick, if backed into a corner, and he said "Mayfield." First guy I've heard say this as everyone has been saying Darnold. Wyche reiterated that he has no inside knowledge, just a guess.

In other news, Mayock hasn’t missed the first pick since 2008, he went Darnold today, for what it’s worth.

He does, and for the life of me I don't know why...it'll be Darnold, and I wouldn't be surprised in the least if they end up trading down...we'll know soon enough.
