I ended up subbing in MacIntyre for Lowry ............... regretting that thus far. Crazy first two days so far.

Some relatives on my wife’s side have a house down there and they messaged us that they were in SC and can’t make it to a birthday party we’re having tomorrow. I knew they had to be at the tournament and my wife showed me some snaps her cousin took from yesterday, definitely looks awesome.
Can Phil pull it off? Would be a great story if so

Phil, on Sunday, of a Major...drama is guaranteed! I can only hope for Phil to have a 1 shot lead heading to 18 over Brooks.
Course is wearing on everyone. Impressive how the designers and course management folks of the PGA can make a course fair but mentally grueling on everyone.

Phil is the David Simms of the tour, but that was still awesome. The course was certainly up for the challenge. I’d love to see it become more prevalent in majors (even a US Open).
That was fantastic .............helluva scene on 18; kudos to Phil (and his brother on the bag).
Greatly enjoyed the course, and yes, seeing more of it would be good.

Having it in May vs. August was a huge benefit too. It's HOT in August. From the local paper, they think there were more like 20k people there than the original plan of 10k (bc of Covid, in 2012 it was more like 30k a day). It looks like the next PGA Champ opening is 2030. They've had the Ryder cup out there in '91.
The new schedule is just great all around. But PGA being in May might be the best decision yet. The afterthought Major has become an actual Major.

I also have a hard time ever not betting Morikawa when his number is around 25-1, considering he wins at about half that clip...
