I've started to go keto and it's not really an issue. Keep my carbs between 25-50g's day. I will spike them up to around 50g's on weight training days. Key thing with this is monitoring electrolytes. Screw that up and you'll be dealing with some serious keto "flu." Don't know about meat only but carbs aren't really a requirement for body function (only need a limited amount). The body can live off of it's fat stores as energy.
