Has anyone started playing WORDLE on "hard mode"? Essentially, you have to use the letters if you guessed them properly and you have to use them in correct spot if you got that correct as well.
I am somehow 3/3, but it is WAY tougher and more fun, imo.

I have been since 2 weeks in.
No, but i may switch to it tomorrow.
Hard mode will ruin my first two guesses strategy. My son has switched to it, and I plan to try it soon.

Doesn’t that just take away the strategy and turn it into guessing right/wrong? Assuming they don’t use words that have 6 different first letters but letters 2-5 are all the same.

I mean, "strategy" is a loose term here. Wordle is almost impossible to lose if you just guess every letter. This just adds a challenge.
Can you play hard mode and also the regular in the same day?

I would have NEVER got today's word on "hard" mode. I used 2 guesses (4 and 5 as can be seen above) only to eliminate letters. I didn't quite eliminate 10 out of those 2, but did eliminate 8 or 9 of the letters I had left.

I just was like 70/71 or 72. It wasn't really fun just to get the word. So going hard mode, while I anticipate getting the word much less often, it is way more rewarding.
