I had a buddy growing up that puts mayo in his chili. I'll toss a spoonful of sour cream in it, but the mayo always seemed gross.

Really wish I could figure out how to make wings crispy in the oven/ smoker. I've made some decent ones, but never "great".

I deep fry mine after smoking to get them crispy. Not sure if that is an option or not. Actually watched it on a cooking show and tried it. They turned out great with the smoke flavor and crispyness.

See the baking/broiling instructions for this recipe for crispy wings in the oven. I've made these a few weeks ago and they turned out great.

So I bought barramundi today on a whim. I had never even heard of it. Anyone tried it or have any recipes?

Made the Alton Brown Cucumber Lemonade Gin punch someone posted on here, and it’s legit. Taking it to the pool this summer for sure.

I dont know where that comes from Obama is bad history gone away, beef tornados made with flank steak is marinated with bacon fat, beaten to a thin, soften meat fiber. The Brown sauce is a perfectly compliment to great grill flavors.

I've been working the turkey chilli....Love it.  Still perfecting the spices.

My next project is a chicken curry sauce.

Deep fried a turkey yesterday for a party. Brined overnight. It was a hit.

Did some sous vide salmon and chicken on Sunday for lunches throughout the week (on salads). Finished them in the cast iron skillet and threw them in the fridge. They were among the best protein I can recall having on a salad.

My brother got me a sous vide as a gift.  I haven't had time to use it, but wtf do I do with it?  I know you can make legit steaks, but what else?

I do like the idea of making fish in the winter without making the house smell like fish.  I normally only make fish when the weather is nice enough to grill it outside.

Nice. I did some burnt end type recipe smoking pork belly the other day. It was legit.

Also, I guess I never ate them growing up, but bone in, skin on, chicken thighs are legit in a cast iron skillet if you crisp up the skin first and then put it in the oven to finish.

Chicken thighs are one of my favorite things to cook. I did these in the smoker , but I recently got 3 cast iron pans and I’ve only done steak so far

Which one did you get?

I did homemade Greek yogurt at a friends. It was suprisingly easy and awesome.
