Imagine rage quitting a site because it’s a far right cess pool full of MAGA cheerleaders (note: 2/3 of this site is NOT voting for Trump). Now the Portland folk have killed a guy (Right wing, not in self defense like WI). Then, BLM supporters cheered and celebrated it bc he was “obviously” a Nazi. I’m sure SnL is just as outraged that someone was murdered for no reason. How long is this dumb shit going to be allowed to go on?

Well, I think that the small amounts of actual protesting happening there is actually pretty fine. But those account for the smallest amounts of activity.

The looting is terrible and I wouldn't purposely go there for any reason if nothing wasn't forcing me to. It doesn't make you a pussy. It makes you somebody with common sense.

Bonus data:   60,000 assaults on police officers annually.

White guy gets stabbed at AutoZone by a black guy who "felt the need to find a white male to kill."

I also had a good conversation with someone online, as I don't know what that way forward is. But, I asked, "what is the first and/or easiest changes that need to be implemented?" To me, it's hard to figure out what to do FIRST that would make a major impact or show there's a positive way forward.

So what comes of this one? Cops stop a black guy on a bike for vehicle code violations, and the guy takes off running. Cops catch up to him, fight ensues, one officer is punched. During the fight, the guy drops some clothes he had been carrying and a semiautomatic handgun falls out. Cops see the gun and end up shooting the guy dead. The gun was in fact recovered from the scene. 

From what I can tell, the march they did was fine. Besides some of the usual ACAB spray painted in some places, nothing was burned down or demolished (as far as I know, I didn't go looking).

Mayor Ted Wheeler of Portland, however, got a fireworks show last night haha!
