Deliberately misattributing things I said? Ignoring other things I said? Posting an article link that I alluded to, and pretending like it refutes what I posted?
You're either an abject moron or a racebaiter.

JFC you're hopeless.
I guess we’ll find out. Hard to see them not making a statement that there was a knife by now but well see

Was there a warrant for his arrest? Was he tazed? Did the cops believe he had a knife?

You really are a moron.
I can't believe you're so dumb I have to spell this out. The point is the cops BELIEVED he had a knife. The cops BELIEVED they were being threatened by a knife. The standard applied to cops in a shooting is what a reasonable officer would have BELIEVED, and then how that reasonable officer would have responded.
Mistaking a phone for a knife or a gun isn't new. If a cop points a gun at you, and you reach into your pocket to pull out a cell phone, the cop would be justified in shooting you.
I don't know if the shooting was justified or not. I do know if this guy made better decisions he almost certainly would not have been shot.
OSH
Kosh B'Gosh

Kosh B'Gosh
I'm not sure why the amount of shots matters? I know if I felt threatened, or people around me felt threatened, I am shooting until I feel the threat is neutralized.
There's no shoot once...wait...shoot twice...wait...and so forth. I've seen enough video of incidents where people continue to be violent after one shot, one stab, being shot with a taser, and whatever else. Is it excessive? No. Neutralizing a threat is not excessive.

Then why the fuck are they telling him to drop the knife? It's an eyewitness account, which finally you acknowledge but are flailing to explain away.
My guess is the "drop the knife" is what led to getting tazed. But it's still exculpatory as failure to drop a knife (even if it's a mistaken phone) informs the cop's decision-making when the guy ignores orders and reaches into his car.

Did an eyewitness say cops were telling him to drop the knife?
It's a really simple question that involves no mindreading.

All I've done is state facts.
I've also offered opinions on those facts, on both sides of the debate. You've massively struggled to follow along.

Also cops yell dumb shit like “ stop resisting” “stop reaching for my gun” all kind of dumb shit to protect themselves when they go to court so let’s not act like that doesn’t happen especially without body cams. Like I said if it was a knife we will hear about it sooner than later. If there wasn’t they will save it for court and say they thought he had a knife.

Sigh.....Let me dumb it down for you:
If a cop is telling you "drop the knife", that cop believes he is being threatened, because a knife is a deadly weapon....hence said cop is "being threatened with a knife". It's not mindreading, it's basic logic most of us learned in grade school.

The witness clearly said he wasn’t aggressive. No evidence he threatened anyone at this point. He was walking away from the officers. He made some bad choices that contributed to his death and I’m confused as to what transpired before this to make him react this way, but I completely disagree that he was threatening officers with a knife or they shot him because they believed he had a knife. You have no idea what they believed

One more time, I said he "threatened a cop with a knife". You even circled it, yet you still continue to attribute something to me that I didn't actually say - I said several times there's no reports of an actual knife. You've been corrected multiple times, yet continue to make the same dishonest argument.
The cop's perception is his reality. And that's critical to his decision to use his gun. You really seem to be struggling to understand how if that knife or gun is actually a phone, it's not particularly relevant to the question if a reasonable cop could have thought it was a knife. The "reasonable cop" is the standard used in courts.
Truly a textbook case on how to get shot by police.

Yeha, gut is definitely not justifying the shooting. Give me a damn break lol
Now there’s an imaginary knife involved...anything to help the argument that shooting a guy 7 times because he got in his car and didn’t listen to cops!

If the cops said “drop the bazooka” you’d probably believe they actually thought he had a bazooka. That’s such a terrible argument , gut, and you know it. You’re grasping at straws to help your argument that the shooting was justified . You have done this on the OC for every single incident where a cop shoots a black dude. You defend the cops but get super defensive when someone tells you you’re defending the cops.
The cops wrestled with the dude for several minutes, they knew damn well he didn’t have a knife. The eyewitnesses said he didn’t have a knife. Just because the cops say “drop the knife” doesn’t mean they ACTUALLY believe he has a knife, they’re just trying to justify why they’re about to shoot him

He also said “but I didn’t see a knife “ holy fuck. He’s literally looking at the guy saying THERE IS NO KNIFE. Anyway let’s just wait for more info I’m tired of arguing about this. My position is there was absolutely no reason to shoot him let alone 7 times. You can feel differently that’s what’s great about this country.

This is like a perry mason episode. I said that he did. He sounded very confused as to why they said it.
