My wife and I are celebrating 11 years today. We're getting close to the point of having known each other for more than half our lives. We were both 19 when we met and we'll both be turning 38 soon. Yikes.

30 years this coming September. Did Niagara Falls and Toronto for our 10th, San Francisco for 20. Looking like a camping trip this year.

I told my wife after dinner tonight that it's been a great 11 years, here's to 6 or 7 more.

20 years. We got married on January 1,2000, Y2K. 


Even had candles ready in case the power really did go out.

This fall we will have been married 28yrs.  We have known each other for 2/3 of our lives.  Our youngest moved out almost 2yrs ago so we are settling into the first time in our married life of it just being her and I.

We dated for 5-6 years. We had a short breakup about halfway in.

Wife and I started dating long distance in November. We were only with each other for 2 weeks over Christmas. She came to visit in March for 2 weeks and I proposed.


So technically talking to each other over the phone for 4 months but had only been together for 2 weeks when we got engaged.


We were married 9 months later. 


We were only together for 5 months, but talking long distance for just over a year before we got married.

We dated for 10 years, most of those we were doing long distance.This October will be six years of marriage.

No, lol.  We were both 30 and had our own places at the time.

Everybody was sure she was pregnant.   We disappointed a lot of cynical folks people seven months later.
