I hope I can find an Xbox. I had it in my walmart cart at 3pm today but the bots beat me to it

i'm trying to decide between an XBOX series X and the PS5. My son and I have been pooling our spare money to buy one to play on together and i'm going to surprise him with one assuming i can find one of either. 


Anyone have any insights? I'm leaning PS5 because we have had PS4 but i'm not married to that if someone has any reason to go with Xbox.

I prefer Xbox, because I think the controller is easier to handle and manipulate. If that makes sense. PlayStation controllers have never felt right in my hands. 

But other than that, they’re the same to me.

I’m an Xbox guy as well but if you had a PS4 I would probably stay with the PS5. Your best shot is probably lining up early on Black Friday. I’m hearing stores will be getting a minimum of 2 each (GameStop)

My wife was bothering me all day about playing backgammon or stratego. She can never win so I bought a switch last night I need to pick up. I got the version that comes with Mario Kart and also got Mario party. 


If we go back into another lockdown at least this will keep us busy.

I’m glad I’m not trying to buy a PS5 or whatever the new Xbox is. It sounds incredibly frustrating.

People on Twitter were complaining that Best Buy or Wal Mart would announce consoles going on sale at 7pm and within a few seconds it was sold out. 

Idk how true it is but bots are being set up to just buy a lot of them and then turn around sell them for more.

I'd guess it's fairly true.  Been trying to get a set of Ironmaster adjustable dumbbells, and you have to sign-up for a lottery so the consortiums and bots couldn't suck-up all the supply.
