1. Not sure if he said it or not as 1 person in the room is saying he did (a Democrat) the others are denying it outright or saying they didn’t hear it (republicans). 

2. If he did say it then it was tasteless but not really racist like many are saying. He said the country was a shithole, not the people. 

3. Obama said the same exact thing about Libya “a shit show” and no one called him racist for it. Hypocrisy by the media at its best. 

4. There are plenty of shithole countries where the people are amazing. For instance, I have been to India and it is a shithole country. The people are some of the nicest people I have ever been around. 

I thought a Republican or two DID confirm Trump said it.  At issue seems maybe to be if he said it repeatedly.

I'm not sure it's racist or bigoted on the surface.  It's an inappropriate thing to say, but then again it was said in a private meeting.  A lot of executives talk like that.  And I bet other Presidents have said as much, if not worse....but no one went and leaked it to the press.

Trump as said many awful, embarassing things.  And he has been justifiably called for it.  So why is Durbin being praised inside of criticized by disclosing a comment made in confidence that so poorly reflects on the POTUS abroad?

I do keep hoping Trump is inspiring people to purge the media and Washington.  While Trump is a swamp-dweller himself that needs to go, he's certainly exposed and put the entire swamp on display for everyone to see.

Haiti is a shithole. It would be less of a shithole if the red cross had not stolen $500 million from them.

Referring to something as "a shit show" I'd take it as someting in a state of chaos.  The President was directly talking about certain people and the countries they come from.   It is racist.

Right now the knee jerk reaction (albiet probably ok in this incident) is a little early.......need to vet the incident since some people are saying he didnt make those remarks and only 1 person is.

As for the the actual statement.....he is just saying what most people think.  I am sure ole Dick Durban wouldnt want those Hatians living in his neighborhood or going to school with his kids.

I would say it was far more elitist than racist, because he also talked about merit.  Basically he's saying the poor and uneducated should go to the back of the line, and maybe that those who will further burden our social/entitlement programs shouldn't be allowed in at all.

It's a brutally honest reality that Durbin is a real shithead for disclosing.

Saying that he doesn't want people from shithole countries (AKA brown and black people) to come here, but he DOES want people from Norway (AKA white people) is racist. People keep leaving that last part out, which is insane to me.  

The POTUS is a racist garbage human being. This is just one example. Even if good things happen during this presidency, he sucks. I'd have a lot more respect for his supporters if they'd just admit that he's trash but that they don't care.

A close colleague of mine who is a registered Democrat told me he voted for Trump to toss a wrench into the gears of Washington.  Anecdotal but it is my belief that a lot of people do not like how Washington works.

I think many people such as myself would never vote for her and also would never vote for Trump. Instead we just simply voted off or didn't vote at all rather than vote for them. I don't blame anybody for not voting for Trump or Hillary. They are both full of tomfuckery. 

There are many countries that are unhealthy, chaotic, murderous, inept and you don't have to be any shade of brown to there, since we're bringing up color. You can despise Trump and still understand that concept. 

No, he cannot learn to keep his mouth shut. I've come to be desensitized to his jackassery. I'm not longer continuously outraged. Just keep looking at the calendar folks, it really won't be that long.

 Come on Fab, he mentioned countries that were currently in crappy conditions he didn’t mention white or brown you and the media did.
