I think a Military Parade that rotates from City to City / State to State yearly is a good idea. Let to public see the Military in a different format of pride and honor and America patriotism. Nothing wrong with showing off

Was going to write the exact same thing. But #1 it's about Trump. And #2 he probably looks at all the parades Rocket Man has and he feels inadequate.
How about instead of a parade you fix VA healthcare?
A better way to honor our military is to bring them home from unwinnable undeclared wars.

As to the topic, I don't see the point. As said above, we have multiple days set aside to honor vets. Adding a parade so Trump can be the center of attention just seems like a situation where the only winners are him and those who get off on constantly paying attention to him, whether it be the OTT Trumptards or the OTT anti-Trumptards.

As others said, money can be used/ saved, to do other things.
People already know we are the best military in the world, no need to tear up the streets in DC to show off.
Plus, it would be a gold mine for China and Russia counter intelligence, just as we use parades to gather intel on China. Russia, and North Korea.

Plus the security would have to be immense. It would be a prime time for the bad guys to kill civilians, military and take out some eqt as well.

I don't watch the Macy's parade, so it's a given that I wouldn't watch a military parade. Besides, does anybody watch televised parades other than small children and the Boomers?

Let localities to continue their own parades for special holidays. Was in Nashville in November and caught the Veteran's parade. They had a good amount of it in this parade a long with way. Way, way too much fluff. The parade was way too long.
