In very liberal districts, that might be the platform. Otherwise, I agree in most cases it's a big a loser.
Plus, the left DOES NOT WANT to take your guns. They really and truly don't, because then they can't demonize the NRA and Republicans. Also, preventing school shooters is going to be a FANTASTIC excuse for increasing property taxes and giving more federal funding to schools.
Granted, abortion is still a hot political issue, so I suppose it's possible they could take all the guns and STILL debate the issue into perpetuity.

Fucking unreal that 60 minutes is putting a porn star on TV. She admitted to lying 3 or 4 times in the first 5 minutes of this interview. I was surprised it was a pretty good interview (expected a smear job, especially with Anderson Cooper doing it). Still not sure if this was worthy of 60 Minutes, but certainly NOT a double segment (seemed like it was 40 minutes long).
Was fairly impressed with her - she would have been an interesting contestant on The Apprentice.
But I think mainly 60 Minutes is trolling Trump with this. I fully expect he had steam coming out of his ears, and he's going to be going Full Trump on Twitter over this.

I would agree....I didn't set out to watch it (it was on after basketball), but I was surprised that it was not an absolute partisan hack job.
