I'm talking about the opinion that she was ineffective in her interview, whereas someone else watches it and thinks the opposite.

That wasn't my opinion. I said that he didn't attack her, that he kept interrupt her when she tried to filibuster.

So, there's that.

I'm curious about those states that still have Kennedy on the ballot. Are those Kennedy voters still considered Democrat?

And then the states where he was able to have his name taken off the ballot, will those same type of voters just swing their vote to Kamala or Jill Stein?

I wasn’t meaning you personally.  It is an observation that two people can watch the same thing and see it two totally different ways.

In my opinion I think that Kamala needs to make herself the center of everything she says. She needs to sell herself to those who might be persuaded. She's got less than 3 weeks left, she's got to do this.

Kamala not going to the roast last night is a bad look.

Coincidentally, the last candidate to skip the roast was Mondale.....

Heard that Harris is so desperate that she's considering a one on one sit down with Joe Rogan. That ought to be a doozy.

Someone posted her giving a speech on my LinkedIn and the responses were "she's AMAZING!!!", "So well spoken", "a true leader!" Like you said, "another universe." And before "Mr Know It All" jumps on me to say "you're going to have that opinion, regardless", I'm not a  Trump sycophant and think he often comes across aloof. BUT, I also believe, of the two, he has the best chance to "try" to turn this thing around where Harris, continuing with an even more liberal/aggressive policy will only dig this country a deeper hole than her and Biden have already dug.

But you are going to have that opinion no matter what. When was the last time, if ever, you voted Democrat? If you are a party line and only party line, then there is no purpose in having conversations.

I'm an independent.  I have voted on both sides of the aisle, and do so down the ticket now.

I don't know everything, but I'm pretty certain that you are never going  to change your mind about Kamala.  There's nothing wrong with that; you're entitled to your opinion.  But with that comes a human tendency to seek out supporting data to the opinion you hold.  We all do that, and you're doing it with Kamala.

You're right, my mind's not going to change on her because she's sneaky, deceitful and, as has been mentioned, has sadist tendencies. She's been flip flopping this whole campaign, won't give a straight answer, and as Baier called out, was one of the ones covering for Biden's failed mental capacity for months. She's been hiding, just like Biden did in 2020 (although gramps had the COVID excuse), and now she's trying to throw up a Hail Mary to try to project the image that she's "likeable", which she's not.

When the Dem's decide it's more important to lower taxes, keep our borders safe (not flooded with illegals OR migrants), decide to spend money on our homeless (particularly veterans) instead of Ukraine, etc, not threaten to takes our guns, they will get my vote. But that's not how they roll. It's more important to flood the country with their future Dem voters, make sure that guys can get their free surgeries so they can compete against women in sports, shove garbage/overpriced electric vehicles down our throat and passive/aggressively threaten to take away guns. Oh, and did I mention loving $250-300/week grocery bills?

I would like to see both candidates to a sit down with him. He has a way of making people feel comfortable and relaxed enough to open up more than they usually would. I think he could get answers to questions that people would like to actually get an answer to. Politicians have the ability to say a whole bunch of things with the goal of saying nothing; filibuster. I think he would be able to winnow out info better than a pundit.

I will just say that the Dems in DC are puke bags and have ruined their chances to persuade me to ever vote for them. I've always voted for some Dems at the local levels, though. Positions like county commissioner, for example. But even those closer to home Dems are generally getting into the stupid territories, making my revulsion of them even more visceral. And we all know that they have no aspirations of changing course.

That is not to say that Republicans are any better. The current Speaker is a great example of awful. He has just as much authority to call an emergency session of Congress as the president has to shift monies from funding war for other countries and keep that money here where so many are desperate for help, but he won't. We know why, too. He's playing politics so that people keep their anger directed at the Dems. The Republicans are every bit as despicable as the Democrats. Don't get it twisted.

Congress in general have betrayed We the People for decades now, because those lobbyist lunches are just too good. Not to mention the fact that the military industrial complex and intelligence agencies have corrupted every facet of Congress, the Senate and Presidency. Since WWII. It would take a considerable amount of time, focus and genuine determination to start reversing the status quo at this point. Kamala Harris, the sadistic piece of baggage that she is, won't even consider it. Donald Trump, the aimless goofball that he is, won't do much more than talking some small parts about it.

The best thing imo that Kamala has going for her is that she's better looking than Trump and has the plow of the military industrial complex (expand that to govt entities in general) in front of her.

The best thing that Trump has going for him is that he already has a better team (Kennedy and Tulsi) surrounding him than she does.

Not to mention the black male vote. Usually Michigan is a lock for the Dems. Minnesota has a lot of Muslim-Americans too. Surprised we haven't heard more about them.

I didnt mean you, and same. I don't usually frequent this thread, because it's talking in circles. Both sides imo can make compelling cases on issues, but there is no point in actual posting back and forth when 60% -- if not more -- of people have their mind made up for the rest of their lives who they are voting for.

Yeah, I can agree with this. Because for myself I won't be voting Dem at the federal level unless or until they somehow become a decent block. Republicans are right behind them. The span between them is finer than frogs hair.

And like I mentioned earlier, the Dems closer to me at the local levels are getting sick, too. So they will also be losing voters like me. I have a hard time understanding the lack of self awareness with those people. It seems like they've been given marching orders from the expansions of the party, who knows nothing about the needs of a district, county, township or even schools. And, sorry for repeating this again but, it seems like they are blind to their own self immolation.

So people like me won't be going out of our way to prop up either party.

No way they can say this with a straight face after covering for Biden for 3.5+ years.

Any democrate? Last election 2 years ago.

A democrat for POTUS? Whatever year Obama ran against McCain/Palin...couldn't let that woman be a heart attack away from being POTUS....and Harris is just the left wing version of her.

I don't think that Sarah palin was as bad as people thought she was. Remember when a SNL skit had millions of people believing that she said that she could see Russia from her house when that wasn't what she said at all? LOL

That wasn't what she said, correct. But she did say "Alaska being so close to Russia gives her international policy experience" which is pretty dumb. There were other cases as well, but she was just a cheerleader for McCain.

As a candidate, she was a train wreck of the first order.
