I don't think the posters are smart enough to find this place. 

I following the "old boards" on tapatalk and did not know that the Ohio Chatter had moved.  guessing a lot of people did not come with the move and are yapping it up on another site.

I did post a notice to tapatalk announcing that the site had moved. Did you not see it?

I missed it, I now see it at the top of the threads in tapatalk.  The chatter sport boards have pretty light traffic and I only followed in tapatalk.  Thought users had just really fallen off.  I do not use any other aggregator so do not know if you have similar issues with other users.  

It was just by luck after posting via tapatalk to the old forum that I decided to come to the site today and saw the headline at the top.

I like the new look but not sure I will be back very often based on level of traffic.  I do not use reddit so maybe that is an option, I assume this new format is compatiable with that?

Also edit post function did not appear to work

Traffic is definitely slow on the high school boards, that said I will be sending out periodic emails to invite old posters back. Not sure if it will help much on the two remaining high school forums or not. Not sure what you mean by compatible with reddit.

I tried to edit my post using "edit post" under "Admin Actions", it allowed me to make a change but would not allow it to be posted, so I did a new post.  maybe that is the intent under "Admin Actions" that only an "Admin" can edit but the individual contributor cannot.

It should have let you edit, and others have used that feature without issues. It might have been a glitch on that particular attempt to edit. Can you try again on your last post and see what happens? Did it throw up a big red error message when you tried the first time?

I tell you my story.  When JJ shut down I tryed to join Chatter, they told me I was a member but it would not let me post. I tryed for months to get things corrected and then just gave up.  Came back a few days ago and It said I could post   Always thought maybe my reputation proceded me and they did not want a highly opinionated old man on the site.

Sorry for any issues you had on the old site, and for the lack of response. There were issues with the OC email account. This place is full of highly opionated old men, so you should fit right in.

Just found the new site! I have been with "Chatter" for several years but only discuss HS Football. Smithville Hired the a new head coach, Mike Baker, he already is a teacher at the HS and has been an assistant under old head coach Schrock.
