Eagles look like they knocked it out of the park while the Lions left me scratching my head. Detroit could've taken Christian Gonzalez at 12, still got the RB Gibbs at 18 and Jack Campbell, who I think is going to be a stud, with their 2nd rounder at 34.

Carter must be a hell of a talent when he wants to play. Really only saw (or didn't see him) in the tOSU game.

To get him is one thing but then to add an edge rusher like Nolan Smith at the end of the round is just filthy. Really good defense just added more. Think that gives them at least 4 Georgia players on that defense.
Putting mayo in your coffee doesn't pay, kids.
Will Levis had almost zero chance to *not* be picked in the first round, according to ESPN Analytics.

Where could he land tomorrow? 🤔 pic.twitter.com/LVEsZZjmh7

So, you can't trust the analytics. ??
What on earth are the possible data points for that kind of statement on the draft??? Beyond stupid. Its a draft. No one "falls" because no one has a spot to begin with. This is the exact opposite of analytics or win probability where ESPN has hundreds of thousands (or more) data points of games, time, score, opponent, etc to compare the current game to. I read that less than 0.1% chance and just laughed. What a dumb, concocted number.

They probably run a ton of simulated drafts and in 99.9% of them he was taken in the 1st. I just wanted to continue to point out he is a psychopath that puts mayo in his coffee.

Oh absolutely.
My only point is how dumb it is to use mock drafts, who just look at other mock drafts to make their mock picks, as a data point. When testing results, interviews, physicals, etc are not public.

Same shit happens every year. 90%+ of the “grade” of a player is the tape. The rest is secondary. The whole Levis possibly going one or two in the past week was absurd. Teams aren’t completely randomly changing their grades in the last week unless there is another weed gas mask incident.
So, what does Levis do after the first round ends and he's still in the draft room? Does he get to leave and go to his hotel or whatever, or does he get locked in there for the night, so they can make sure to have the cameras on him until he gets picked because, let's face it, that makes for good drama in TV?posted by justincredible

Didn’t Brady Quinn have an experience like this? It all worked out for him as he made it all the way to the Big Noon Kickoff.
