So tonight’s crew chief referee is Scott Foster…..Chris Paul is 2-15 in the playoffs when Foster is referring affects the W/L so much but doesn’t look good
Not sure how he calls it

Giannis is 14/15 from the line!
Uh oh….Happy learned how to putt
Gotta put them away tonight if you’re Milwaukee. I don’t think Giannis has a game seven in him two days from now

Not one where he shoots 95% free throw
Pretty special what Giannis is doing
Cool scene in Milwaukee….inside the arena and out
Good for them
Legendary performance by Giannis.
Holy fuck, Giannis with the greatest championship sealing game in history.
Netflix dropping a one hour documentary on the Malice at the Palace on August 10th. Can’t wait for that.

Ron Artest's re-enactment of that famous Slapshot scene is grossly underrated.
Can’t wait to be watching the Lakers game this season and thinking “oh yeah, Carmelo plays for them.” Or Dwight Howard or Marc Gasol. Maybe they could add Iguodala, Rondo, and/or Boogie while they’re at it.

Dwight is gonna start for them, I'd imagine. AD hates the 5 and LBJ hates the 4. Come playoff time, he probably only plays when he serves his purpose match-up wise.
I can't believe Melo is still kicking it. Seemed like he was done year ago, then had a nice little run with Portland, albiet still living off the worst shot in the game -- the dreaded long 2.

I can’t believe it took him this long to play with Lebron. Wonder if we’ll see any “Wade mulling coming back to play with Lakers” headlines. Jk, kind of.

Jermaine O'Neal was on the Russillo Podcast. Good stuff. I wish this was 4 hours and not 1. You can do an hour on just the stuff we've seen, but this goes a lot deeper. I feel 1 hour isn't going to be nearly long enough.
This is a hot take and tell me I’m wrong but whatever. I hated how Stern handled it and still do. I know you have to make an example of Artest there and you can’t publicly rationalize anything he did was right. But there was absolutely no cops or security. The dickhead who threw the cup in the first place was on court ordered probation for three DUIs.
I know you couldn’t respond to one of the worst scenes in sports history without coming down on the players very harshly, but I still think the league and those Pistons fans can get fucked.
J.J. Redick retires after 15 seasons. Played in 940 career regular season games and got to 12,000 points….increasing his points per game nearly every year of his career.
I remember the old huddle was a constant debate with the Duke posters and others going on about Adam Morrison/Redick like people nowadays debate about Covid/vaccines/masks
I never thought Redick would be a 15 year veteran in the NBA

I don't think anyone could've...because no one saw basketball evolving into what it is today with the spacing and 3-pt shooting. Hell of a career though.
And FTR -- I thought both would flop. So I was half right!
