Hitting balls 115 mph and throwing 101 mph….for giggles has elite speed and is possibly the most grateful guy to be on the field
1 person prior has ever had 8 RBI in a game and struck out 12 batters in a game -- in their career. Ohtani just did it in back-to-back games. Insane.
Going over the fence is cooler, but this is the toughest completed catch of the season

This is bad
Look at the gap….only 6 players got to 200 and no one else got to 240. Oh…..also he was forty fucking two years old.
Miggy in his 20th season is batting .308
Miggy and Pujols to the ASG as Legacy selections…..love it
I saw Tony La Russa trending on Twitter and found out it was because in the first game against Cleveland today, he chose to intentionally walk Jose with a 0-1 count. I think that's the second time (at least) this season where he decided to IBB someone after his pitcher had already thrown at least one pitch in that AB and was ahead in the count.
Interesting strategy, to say the least. It's like he's trying to embrace the full-on analytics stuff, but he's too old to adjust quickly, so he has these delayed reactions where it takes him 30 seconds or so to process what he "should" do in a given situation.
Well, either that or he's drunk again.

And he pitched to him in the 3rd with 2 outs and 1st Base open. Yep, 2 RBI'S.
