Idiot.
Dumb ass, the receivers got the yards. He missed many open receivers. Learn the game of football.

Statistics tell a story, but they never tell the whole story. Stroud had some pretty good stats, but he overthrew his receivers in critical times, and often.
He is NOT remotely the reason they lost, Not even close.

I only played in high school and college. Sorry I wasn't good enough for the pro career you had.

I agree. I wouldn’t rush to blame him when the defense was so miserable. He had them potentially 1st and 10 at the Oregon 38 before the holding negated it back to 3rd and 20. The last INT was ugly though.

I said that the loss was on the defense, but he didn't play well. Did you even watch the game? Receivers were wide open all game. He is very inaccurate. He is bad with down, distance, and time situations.
There were 3 or 4 times where they had him passing when it was an obvious run call and he didn’t execute because the D knew what was coming.
No desire at first to watch but this A&M vs Colorado game has been really good. Crowd is pumped for both sides even though at Colorado. Players leaving it all out there and going down to the wire
Maybe the good news about OSU not being that good is we don't have to watch them get railed by Iowa in the BTCG.

Their defense sucks.
Their schedule besides PSU is kind of weak the rest of the way? We’ll see what Michigan and MSU evolve into. I could see them run the rest of the table and finish with the one loss.

OSU run defense is really bad. ScUM's run game scares me.
FCS Jacksonville State beat Florida State.
Re: Ohio State.
Overall, Stroud isn't bad and does have the ability to zip it in there, but there's a HUGE difference between him in the pocket and him on the move. If he's scrambling and throwing, it's about a guarantee his ball will be sailing. As a result, he had drives where he looked great, but down the stretch when Oregon was bringing it on D due to OSU being down 7 and trying to drive for the tie, he struggled. It's also been two straight games where he got off to a slow start and it took a couple series for him to start looking comfortable. As for the talk about making a change, I think it's too early to do that, as he's nowhere near the main issue they have -- and if they would, don't know why Quinn's being named. Dude's only been on site for like a month, so I doubt there's any way he'd be picked over McCord this season.
The main blame goes to the defensive coaches for making absolutely no adjustments to how Oregon was just wrecking them to the left. Constantly getting good gains on sweeps because the players constantly got sucked in and would be out of position. It's one thing to get torched on a couple of those early in the game, but when it's the second half and that same stuff is still working like a charm and the announcers, my friends, etc. are calling them out on their inability to react to what Oregon is doing...that's a big problem. Doesn't matter how many 4-5 star kids you have --- if the coaching is that bad, all that means is that you have good athletes who are 5 yards out of position, as opposed to blah ones who are 5 yards out of position.
The Buckeyes are #11 in the new coaches poll

Here he is. You don’t get a loss, especially to that garbage team. But you do you.

We’ll see if Oregon is garbage as the season goes on. A new QB will take a few weeks to break in. Let’s count on Day to drive progress on the defense.

Not sure what any of this means.
