A couple of other things that I hate about the coaching (and these all go back to last year):

1) Felton shouldn't be returning punts. Just put someone back there who can field the ball cleanly since we don't have an explosive returner.

2) Have your best players on the field in key situations. Far too often, Chubb, Garrett, and others aren't even on the field in critical situations.

1) I don't get this. During the week, they picked up a punt returner off another teams' practice squad that was #4 in the league in return yardage yet he doesn't play in favor of Felton?

Was listening to "Movin' the Chains" on Sirius XM earlier last week and a valid point was brought up about these coaches. They want to win but they want to win "their way" as if to put style points on it with an "I told ya so." Stefanski has to know that they are much more successful running the ball yet they insist on passing. Same here with Felton. Keep putting him out there to prove you're right. It's stupid.

In this next game, if the defense gets lit up, this is no longer a defensive problem, it's a Stefanski problem. He'll need to gut the defensive coaching room. Woods is getting a lot of shit, and rightfully so, but where's the defensive backs coach during all of this? It's his unit that looks like a sandlot team.

Ward being very defensive about it supposedly not being his fault for blown coverages.  I’m still pissed with that awful showing. Stefanski said he didn’t tell anyone not to score at the end.

Bunch of whiny ass bitches. Hey Ward, do you see any other teams consistently leaving receivers open in a different zip code?

Chubb shouldn't be getting shit from anyone on this. He's taken a knee in the past to run out the clock but this should've been different. This is ALL on the defense. Offense puts up 30 and you give up 31 to a 400 year old QB wearing cement shoes? Again, anyone criticizing Chubb can also GFT.

EXACTLY.

Probably not going to be pretty for the Browns tomorrow night. No Clowney and Garrett & Bitonio are also injured.

Good.  PIT might actually have a chance to score.

But I have a feeling CLE is going to usher in the Kenny Pickett era.  Not that I'm super high on him, but a lot of PIT idiots were ready to put him in the HOF after a couple of preseason games.

Without Watt, PIT might be the worst team in the league.

Like I've said earlier, this could be a 9-6 shitfest.

I was super high on Brandon Weeden after his rookie preseason and that didn't turn out so well.

Yeah, but at least CLE can have Chubb go for 150+.

The only thing more comical than watching Trubisky try to throw the ball is watching Najee Harris run the ball like Stevie Wonder.

I think you're overestimating Stefanski. Last year when everyone on the planet knew Pittsburgh's run D was weak (in the second meeting), a rookie RT on an island blocking Watt, and KS still had Mayfield chucking the ball all over, getting beat on like a pinata. When it's obvious (with the Browns) expect the opposite.

I stand corrected from my earlier statement. Garrett, Bitonio AND Jack Conklin, who will make his season debut, are expected to play.

They have actually punched it into the endzone at a pretty high rate it seems, also. Which, I am shocked at with Brisset being able to do when the field shrinks.

He's surprisingly accurate and has a lot of zip on those short throws but can't hit a deep ball to save his life (hoping for reverse jinx).

Didn't watch the game last night as I've been sick as a dog and didn't want to go to sleep even sicker if they were to lose.

Not sure if Amazon Prime replays the game or maybe I can get it on the NFL Network but will watch it on there if I can.

Sounds like Chubb was Chubb, Brissett continued to be efficient, Amari Cooper is a stud (can't wait to see him with Watson) and Myles was a no show on the sack stat sheet.

Pittsburgh has this interesting dynamic. Unlike the Browns, who have pretty much been in QB purgatory since 1999, Pittsburgh will have their franchise guy (Bradshaw & Fat Boy) and then will be searching for several years (Malone/Brister/Stewart and now Trubisky/possibly Kenny Small Hands) in between before they settle in.

Browns were solid.  Proud of Brissett - he's handling his business like a pro.  Chubb was obviously great.  Pickens catch in the first quarter was unbelievable.  Glad to see the Steelers go home losers.

After Brissett missing some bad ones in the 1st game, he’s been solid the last two. Chubb is great. Defense and special teams need work. Missing 2 extra points already is absurd.
