If it's implied that Barkley is going to be the #1 overall pick as the "surprise", Dorsey should just pack his bags and leave if he pulls that shit. A) he would've wasted a 3 yr/$15m deal on Carlos Hyde because Barkley's going to be your bell cow and B) you don't take RB's THAT high in the draft unless you're a team needing a "finishing piece" (Eagles, Vikings, Patriots, etc) to get you over the top and even then I doubt you do it.
Don't fuck around and just pull the trigger on your QB at 1 and then get Chubb (preferably)/Minkah/Ward at 4. I lean towards Chubb because I think he's going to be better than Garrett (who I don't trust to stay healthy so there's a second reason to go pass rush) and you can never have enough guys that can get to the QB. In today's NFL, the top priorities are have a QB who can move the offense and having guys who can get to the QB. It's NOT "stopping the run" or "running the football."
On a comical note, our buddy Jason LaCanfora, who I didn't know is a Baltimore Rats shill, is saying the Browns are the second best team in the division this year.
