With all of his game winning drives, that was the latest in a game (:03 left) that he's ever thrown a TD. I would've figured he would've thrown a walk off TD once in all of those times he's done it.

All because the fucking Saints played Mark Ingram, who was hurt, and he went out a yard short of the sticks with 5:30 to go. Picks up the first, New Orleans walks to that win; or if Allen just calls 2 rushes/sneaks instead of a quick pass and a punt from the +44 yardline. Jesus, its like the coaches want to lose.

This was not a dumb move by the Rams adding Mayfield. If Mayfield goes in there, actually acts like a humble professional and learns some things from McVay, he may be able to get his career back on track.

With Stafford's situation, he could be insurance for the future if they can fix his footwork/mechanics. For a stretch in 2020, he was a pretty good QB. I have to think there's got to be something there.

Not sure whether he'll listen to coaching and actually will fix his issues, but he could go the way of Colt McCoy as a serviceable career backup if his ego will allow it.

If he doesn't listen, which is more probable, he'll be an analyst on College Game Day in the not too distant future.

I wish him luck (except against the Browns or if he keeps shit talking Cleveland).

I don’t blame the Rams. Stafford will be 35 next season. There’s three other QBs on the roster that you’ve never heard of.

Will Baker work out for them? He hasn’t really given any indication he will. Do they have better options besides rolling the dice on him? No, not really.

Ouch, indeed. How far has a person's star fallen when a star RB says he'd rather roll with Mr. Irrelevant behind center instead of him?

Agreed. Potential winning lottery ticket but highly doubtful.

I think McVay, Shanahan (Niners) and maybe Andy Reid might be able to turn this chicken shit into chicken salad if he'd be humble and listen. That's a huge "if" on Mayfield's part.

Not 100% sure on McVay though as I think he has one foot out the door toward the broadcasting booth.

I was one of the dumbasses who wanted the Browns to draft him and am thankful for the one glimmer he gave the team for one season.

Then stuff started to leak about him bashing Stefanski's play calling after KS called out his play in a meeting.

Then the fact he didn't study the playbook while he had COVID before the Packers Xmas day game in which he threw 4 picks and it was found out he was on 10 hour Halo benders instead of trying to better his craft.

And finally when it came out that he was "on the fence" about whether to play football or become a professional video game, specifically Halo, player.

Dude has a very polarizing personality that I think will serve him well as a College Game Day analyst but I'm skeptical his ego will allow him to be a career backup in the league.

And the knuckle head Raiders DE acts like a dumbass and knocks hall out of BM’s hands as the play is over and getting ball to ref….15 yard penalty and stopped the clock and no way Rams get a TD if he doesn’t do that. They went ahead with 9 seconds left

Brady miracle a few days later

Very impressive. Three days to learn the system and leads them to the game winning TD. The Baker we know would've thrown the game sealing pick. Hope he continues to ball out.

i'm irrationally pulling for mayfield. i think the bulk of the bad ending in cleveland lays squarely with stefanski and i imagine he'll be run off in a year or two. I have no clue what's going to happen with mayfield in LA i'd imagine he's only a 5 game rental player and he's not coming back, but it'd be nice to see what he can do with a proven top coach.

Agree.  The flashes of brilliance may be fleeting, but fun to see.

Bengals and Ravens simply need to flat out take care of business and break the losing streak against their lesser division opponents.

I’ll be 100% shocked if the Bengals don’t do just that. To me they are teetering on being the best team in the NFL and have to want to get the Browns monkey off their backs.

Ravens don’t have Lamar but not sure that matters. This game always seems like a 16-13 type game. Guessing Steelers will unga bunga them with the obvious run because it has worked of late….but won’t work at all on the Ravens. I’m not sure why but the Ravens might blow them out in one of those crazy games.

Steelers and Browns are hanging on to playoff hopes so I’m sure they’ll show up.
