Lavert will likely have to adapt his game to fit in, but maybe Cavs just need him to attack in a bench role. Either way, think Cavs got better, even if Lavert doesn’t 100% workout.
posted by iclfan2I don’t really watch the Cavs, but what in the fuck was this? They should never be allowed to ref another game.
Here it is, folks. The worst call you'll ever see. #NBA #NBA75 @NBAOfficial pic.twitter.com/lmLORjYMLr

I was baffled. Not only did they count the 3-pointer about 5 seconds after the whistle blew; the guy did not make the 3.
Rubio is a free agent after this year right? If so I hope he comes back to the Cavs he was great paired with KLove off the bench.
Sounds like the Cavs probably aren't done trading.
posted by friendfromlowryThe Ben Simmons thing is like one of those “Am I the asshole” threads on Reddit, except the answer is everybody sucks. And somehow Daryl Morey is emerging as the most irritating person in all of this. I hope Embiid throws his weight around soon and tells them to get something done.
Yay it’s over.
Cavs win at pacers after trailing by 19 in first quarter.
Good guys lose to 76ers tonight. Embiid with the 40 point triple double. This was apparently only the fourth triple double of his career, which seems incredibly low.
Embiid is a monster. Cavs have a ton of games vs Philly to close the year, will be a great measure of what can reasonably be expected in the playoffs.
Cringe.
^^^^ words cannot describe how much I can't stand this attention whore clown.
Meanwhile, Jarrett Allen replaces James Harden on the All-Star team.
LeBron is 100% trying to get people to forget the Lakers are terrible. But, its not as bad as just jumping into their celebration randomly. Dodgers and Lakers didnt get a parade, and if I recall, they joked about having the Rams join them for a city wide one if they won a SB.
I know the Lakers didn’t get one. They also won it 18 months ago and currently they’re 26-31. I don’t dislike him as much as BR, but he sure does love him some spotlight.

I was one of the few who didn't want him to return but I appreciate the championship. Once that was done he couldn't leave soon enough for me.
lebron will be sipping sauvignon in the locker room before too long. this lakers team is fucked and he can't be bothered to make bad teams good anymore. He'll just bitch about the team not trading for giannis at the deadline or some other equally asinine bullshit and mail it in. already started hinting his knee is not stable so the added rest nights will be ramping up i'm sure.

Part of the reason I'm skeptical he'll be able to team up with Bronny in a few years. Yes, he's still a stud but his body is breaking down and doesn't recover like it used to. Nobody beats Father Time. And I do realize you're implying he's mailing it in.
he seems like he'll be able to play with bronny. i don't think we'll see him at an MVP level when that happens, but i think it's possible. he's clearly the 2nd best player in the league now and before long he'll slip down the slope hard.
Playing with Bronny very well could take top precedence for him, rather than being iron man. If that is the case, see him sit a lot more to protect his body.
RIP Anthony Davis’s ankle. That looked really bad.

I thought he broke it live. Like, his shin hit the ground…while he was standing upright.
Ankle injuries are weird. His foot can be perpendicular to his leg but it’ll end up being a sprain to be reevaluated in a couple weeks.
