I forgot the link above containing a review that interviewed marine biologists on the documentary.

yes i have read that article before...as with all documentaries there are always two sides to every story.  I found it more credible than not.  (at least watch it before you start an argument with me please lol)

Southern Comfort 7.5/10

Solid, easy to watch film from the early 80's about a group of Louisiana national guardsmen who are hunted down by Cajuns looking to kill them.  Based on when it came out, it seems like an obvious allegory to Vietnam.  But I've always found it entertaining in a Warriors-type way.  I first saw it on Fritz the Night Owl's Night Owl Theatre when I was a kid.

Watched the documentary “My Octopus Teacher” and it was great. Almost need a new thread for strictly documentaries.

Chernobyl miniseries on HBO. Outstanding telling of the disaster, it's causes, how it was handled and the human toll. Highly recommended.

my son is deep into the monsterverse. so we've been watching different movies in that series for the last few weeks:

Kong: Skull Island - 7/10

Godzilla: King of the Monsters - 8/10

Godzilla vs Kong - 7/10

Next week we watch Godzilla. It's a mindless watch but it's hilarious watching my son and daughter going back and forth about which monster is the best and all that.

A great classic. I never got into any of the sequels. But Arnold was so cool in that first film.

T2 was okay. The liquid metal guy was cool. Arnold being "good" was not good. Sarah Conner was a very annoying character.

T2 was the best Terminator movie by far.

You may be the first person I’ve ever met/heard of who doesn’t think it’s at least on par with 1. And one of the top-10 action movies ever. Arnold you didn’t even know was good. That reveal was groundbreaking.

Seriously, my first thought the first time I saw the movie in the theatres as a 12 year old I thought "oh crap, they sent 2 terminators back to kill him this time!".

It was good, but I just liked the first one the most. It's probably the ages I was when they came out - 14 for the first one, 21 for the second.

Thank you. I'm proud to have achieved this.

Seriously, I didn't mean to sound like I hated T2. For me, it the first one was the best because it was all new.
