Darkest Hour 8/10. Great acting by Gary Oldman. Film followed the events of Churchill's first month as Prime Minister. It seemed to stick to the true story except for one scene that was helpful to the storyline. My only criticism is that you never really got deep into Churchill as a person - where he was coming from and what made him who he was. Hard to do, I'll give you that. Overall a very good film.

Love that movie.I saw the trailer for the sequel the other day, looks awesome.
Friend reccomended the horror movie Lights Out.
8/10 for a horror movie. Under 90 minutes, cute girl, several jump scary moments, and an actual decent plot.
Jumanji
Very entertaining
8/10
Kevin Hart steals the show.
John wick 8/10
The Post. Pretty good, I’ll give it an 8/10.
Darkest Hour: 7/10
Solid story, and I liked it as a history guy, particularly WW2. But not enough action.
Gary Oldman was fantastic as Churchill, though.
Insidious (The last key or whatever the fuck)
Used my MoviePass....glad i didn't spend money on it. It started off lame and moved on to terrible.
1/10
Zootopia, 7/10. Snuck in some great jokes and the plot wasn’t horrendous for an animated movie. I’ll watch it again when I have kids.
I, Tonya. 9/10...simply brilliant.
i watched rogue one on friday it was really good - 9/10. I feel like i have to go watch all of the prequels now since i still haven't seen any of them. once i've seen all those, i'll likely go back and watch the force awakens and the last jedi.
Molly's Game was really good.
The Post: Solid and entertaining. A bit heavy handed at times and the facts are skewed for drama. Doubt it wins best picture.
I, Tonya - 7.5/10. Margo Robbie and Allison Janney were fantastic.
Just watched Grizzly Man. I enjoyed it, but that guy had several screws loose.
The Killing of a Sacred Deer
Weird as fuck.....no idea what to even rate it.
Finally got around to seeing IT. I enjoyed it. Not sure what I'd rate it? Maybe 7 or 8.
Watched Manchester by the Sea last night. Not getting the hype.
Chuck. About Chuck Wepner, the boxer's whose fight with Ali became the inspiration for Rocky. Neat story of how a nobody became famous, let the fame go to his head and entered the inevitable phase of self-destruction. Wouldn't say it's super-great or anything, but it was a fun watch. 7.5/10 or so.
