Big Game

Not perfect.  The motive for the main Secret Service member doing what he's doing is pretty light, and while the kid actor isn't bad, his lines were written to be a bit stereotypical, but the acting was pretty good across the board, and I liked that they left at least one loose end tied.  Made it seem more plausible in an imperfect world.

It's more of a 6.5/10 for me. I don't know. In spite of the fact that it pretty much presents itself as a good Star Wars movie, it seems to have done a few things wrong along the way.

Watched El Camino Christmas on Netflix last night. It was alright.

Christmas Vacation - 10/10.

I watched the movie after reading the book. I thought it was a pretty solid adaptation. 

Last Jedi 9/10. Great movie, moved along a lot like The Dark Knight. Didn’t really have that Star Wars feel

I watched Spotlight with my parents and husband last night. I'd seen it, but they had not. All agreed that it's an excellent movie.

I remember thinking it was a crime that The Big Short didn't win that year.  And then I saw Spotlight and thought, "Nope.  They got it right."

Phenomenal movie.

Just watched Harts War last night.  Pretty decent

The kingdom on Netflix. It started out slow but ended really well. 8/10

I remember that i wanted to see this when it came out but didn't. I'm going to have to try again to watch it.
