Who the fuck gets pregnant in that situation? I mean come on. I’ve seen pregnancies on teen mom that were more responsible than that

Admitting you watch Teen mom...

Classic.

Annihilation, saw it at the cheap theater last night...

2/10-Could have been a good story line with the idea behind it but it just plain fell flat. To be honest it was boring 90% of the movie. Glad I only paid $2 for my ticket.

I should have known with Natalie Portman as the lead...

I have come to realize that Natalie Portman is just a boring actress, I can't really name one good role she played well. She was terrible in Star Wars and terrible in the Thor movies.

Yeah, I saw it was and thought it was fine. Could have been much better.

As for Natalie, come on, I can name a few: the Professional, Closer, V for Vendetta, Black Swan, and I thought she was really good in Jackie.

Last movie I saw: Thor Ragnarok: 8/10. Funny and didn't take itself too seriously. A good watch. Now, I'm all caught up on the marvel movies.

Admittedly I may have been harsh, I originally had 4/10 and changed the 4 to a 2. I went in thinking the movie had a good enough story to be a solid 8 and was disappointed.

I also admit I took her two worst roles (SW and Thor) and used it against her. V for Vendetta was good, Black Swan, etc. I never saw Jackie so can't comment.

I agree with you about Thor:Ragnorok, was the only Thor movie so far that didn't suck, I liked it a lot.

You need to just enjoy movies about dinosaurs and not take them so literal.

You're talking to a guy who is complaining about the physics in a science fiction movie being far-fetched while he simultaneously believes that dinosaurs literally lived on an Arc with human beings...

Not out yet but I saw that Unbroken is getting a sequel?   Imagine it will follow the latter part of the book but not sure.  I won't give a spoiler but I thought the ending of the book was very interesting but not sure how it will translate to a movie

Ah, the old ad hominem...

I am not going to get involved in the Noah's Ark (spelling) and dinosaur discussion on this thread, but you have miss characterized what I said. To be honest I don't care what else you put on this thread as I won't reply just stating you have no idea what you are talking about.

Off subject, but I can not wait for Super Troopers 2 this weekend.  Critics hate it, but they hated the original.

Also, I watched Glory Road again yesterday....I forgot how disneyfied the story was.....

Rampage: 10/10. The Rock can do no wrong.

But actually like a 5.5/10. Straight action and little plot. But knew that would be the case.

Yeah, it looks like a movie that revolves around that old game, and they've just paired it with just some gratuitous CGI and a light script, but shoot, I have fond memories of that game.  I'd probably enjoy it for that reason alone.

As long as you go in expecting no real plot and just some decent action/cgi with a little (and I do mean little) 80s video game nastalgia it is worth seeing.

Wife and I watched it.

What you described is pretty much all I'd be looking to find.

Haven't seen it, obviously, since I don't think it's out yet.....But apparently Avengers: Infinity War is like one of the most amazing movies ever.

Have a buddy who caught a pre-screening, and he seemed to agree with this.  Also said Thanos is far and away the best villain in any recent Marven movie.

It will be interesting to me to see if Avengers beats Black Panther's box office numbers. If it doesn't, that pretty much proves why BP has made so much money.

It should. Unless it bombs. Presale numbers are insane for it. So unless it sucks, trajectory would have it ahead of BP.

She was terrible in Star Wars

This is isn't directed at you, but it always makes me laugh when people complain about the acting or dialogue in the prequels. The acting in 4-6 was pretty meh. The dialogue was terrible. Harrison Ford changed some so it was ok/memorable. The special effects were good for there time, but the light saber battles were SO much better in the prequels. Seriously they've had to go back and come up with explanations for why Vader vs Obi Wan was so damn boring.

She was also like 16 or 17 during filming of the first one. Not that acting can’t be good at that age, but it’s tough when it’s a summer blockbuster, not a smaller budget movie, and you don’t have a director or producer or anyone who is helping you act.
