Guardians of the Galaxy 3.....3.5/10

Terrible almost start to finish.  Almost nothing that made the first two films so entertaining.

I was not a fan of this movie either.  It felt like the ending lasted an hour.

MI: Dead Reckoning Part 1 - 7.9/10

Oppenheimer - 8.6/10

Part 2 of MI may alleviate my small issues with Part 1.

Oppenheimer owned for about 2:15, then the final act was a little tedious. But I think on a rewatch, I’ll enjoy that portion a ton more. Which is a common theme with me and Nolan movies (non-Batman variety). His time manipulating, or in this case jumping, always has me guessing at parts and I enjoy them much more the second time knowing what’s what.

We recently watched Air and Tetris. Both were good.

Oppenheimer is next for me, next week.

Saw Sound of Freedom

As a movie/entertainment, 7.5/10. Parts that had some bad acting or slow, but overall good movie.

As a "we need to see this to become aware of a real problem" 10/10.

Don't let some media outlets fool you, it does not dive into any QAnon conspiracy theories. Is a simple retelling (with some embelishments for sure) of Tim Ballard's mission(s) of saving kids in slaver in Central/South America.

Was Air the one about signing Jordan to Nike?

If so I am NOT a basketball fan but I agree, that movie was good. The actress who played Jordan's mom, Viola Davis, is amazing.

Loved her in The Help, Air, Fences, even Suicide Squad. I think shes a top 5 actress in all of Hollywood.

Probably why I liked Fences so much, her and Denzel (one of my favorite actors) together.

Looked her up to see other movies she was in, no way that woman is 57 years old, she looks 30-35.

Viola is amazing.

I also saw sound of freedom. Forgot to rate it. It’s a 7/10 for me. But as gut said 10/10 of you have to see it. And 10/10 if you want to feel something at the movies. I held back tears a few times in the theater.

John Wick 4.

Over-the-top, of course.  But maybe the BEST action movie I've ever seen.  Choreography was amazing.  10/10

You know what’s a fucking stressful movie? Nowhere, on Netflix.

Holdovers: 7/10. There is a better movie in there somewhere. I’m not sure what it is, but it’s there.

Regardless, they chose the second best version and it was very good. The acting of the 3 main leads was top notch.

My wife was curious about the kid, turns out he's never acted in anything other than maybe a school play. He was an actual boarding school student, I thought he was older. Kid nailed it.

Yeah, they kept bringing him back for auditions after he was seen at a play. All the actual actors kept losing out so they finally just hired him.

3022....2/10, to be generous

It looked good, and had a couple of big names.  But it was a slow 90 minutes of pointless crap.  Complete with the artsy ending that wasn't deserved and meant nothing.
