Loooove me some Miranda..........

Heard/saw the Tanya Tucker song this AM on CMT about Bring me Flowers or whatever its is called.  Seems new.....man, powerful song.

Typically been rocking my Dokken or Waylon Jennings channel on Pandora but since I got XM in my new car as a trial it has been been quite a bit of Hair Nation.

Hair Nation is good for awhile, but then it starts to repeat too much. I wish they had another HM station that focused more new wave of British heavy metal from the 70s and 80s (Motorhead, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden). It'd be a nice complimentary station.

Maybe Ozzy's boneyard?

I am just happy to hear my favs from back in the day with Dokken/Ratt/Tesla and with GNR/Crue not just the same ole ones that are played on the oldies rock stations!

It's a good station for sure. I like Ozzy's boneyard as well.

Heard it a few times now, but if you are a dog lover check out Maggie's Song by Chris Stapleton.

It would behoove you to do so alone.

You have been warned.

Holy shit, you weren't kidding. Great song, but that'll wreck your day.

Yup and apparently he wrote it in one quick sitting and is a partial true story of a dog he had growing up.

Yeah, I just looked it up to see if he wrote it or someone else. I was certain it was him as he is a great songwriter.

Now after you hear it a number of times it gets you right from the start because you know how the ending goes.

To move to the human side, for anyone who was a step dad to a young boy, check out Elvie Shane My Boy.......Yeah.

I don’t know how old y’all are but the Hardy cover of puddle of mud Blurry is great. Hardy is solid music.

Great album just released by Eric July, a relatively prominent libertarian. It's nice to have decent entertainment/art with a message you actually agree with.

The mandolin on the first track "Call to Arms" is fantastic. The whole album is solid.

Yep. I loved Sailor’s Guide and think each bluegrass version is better

They are awesome.  I could listen to Mark Knopfler play guitar all day long.

New Iron Maiden single. Enough to put everything else on hold, as always.

You're talking about "The Writing on the Wall", I assume.  Great sounding single and first Maiden new music in 6 years.  I think it sounds great, although I need to play it loud before I can really tell how good it is.  Looking forward to more new music from Maiden.

UP THE IRONS!!!!

Yep, over the last 16 hours or so, I've played it about a dozen times and it's a banger.

Listening to a lot of System of a Down at the gym this week. What a tight sounding band.  "Lonely Day" and "Aerials" are great highlights.
