I purchased a quarter of a grass-fed beef from my uncle, I'll be picking it up in a couple weeks. Looking forward to trying out some new cuts with the sous vide soon.

You being srs?
Made a home made pasta sauce last night last night. Turned out fantastic and was super easy. Will be doing this everytime going forward.
Brisket update: It was underwelming. Good flavor, but some sections were tough. Not worth the money and effort to do it in an oven. Smoke it or don't bother.

Yeah. It's legit.
I had a buddy growing up that puts mayo in his chili. I'll toss a spoonful of sour cream in it, but the mayo always seemed gross.
posted by iclfan2Really wish I could figure out how to make wings crispy in the oven/ smoker. I've made some decent ones, but never "great".
I deep fry mine after smoking to get them crispy. Not sure if that is an option or not. Actually watched it on a cooking show and tried it. They turned out great with the smoke flavor and crispyness.

See the baking/broiling instructions for this recipe for crispy wings in the oven. I've made these a few weeks ago and they turned out great.

Made the Alton Brown Cucumber Lemonade Gin punch someone posted on here, and it’s legit. Taking it to the pool this summer for sure.

I dont know where that comes from Obama is bad history gone away, beef tornados made with flank steak is marinated with bacon fat, beaten to a thin, soften meat fiber. The Brown sauce is a perfectly compliment to great grill flavors.
I've been working the turkey chilli....Love it. Still perfecting the spices.
My next project is a chicken curry sauce.

Simple but easy oven bake Clam Chowder nice and thick sauce with strong clam/ potatoe base and sweetness of heavy cream...
Did some sous vide salmon and chicken on Sunday for lunches throughout the week (on salads). Finished them in the cast iron skillet and threw them in the fridge. They were among the best protein I can recall having on a salad.
