So without the sweep of Minnesota, the pipedream of division is dead.

5 things I want to see to end this year:

  1. Arias continutes to solidify his spot at SS
  2. Bo just gets ABs
  3. Valera/Rodriguez called up and play every day for Straw/Calhoun and split time with Laureano (I think he is on roster next year, so give him ABs)
  4. Kwan gets reps in CF
  5. Manzardo added to 40-man and called up

Oh, btw, Cleveland retains the Ohio Cup. Woo hoo.

The Guardians drew 1,834,068 fans in 78 dates at home in 2023, a 41.5% jump in attendance from last season. It's their highest total since 2019 (1,926,701).

One of the biggest driving forces behind the increase was the team's monthly ballpark pass. The $49 ticket gave fans a standing-room spot for every home game in that particular month.

And might have been about the final nail in the coffin for Cincinnati's playoff hopes (of many; they didn't exactly put up a good record down the stretch despite only having one series with a team better than .500 and that whole "blow a 9-0 lead at home" thing against the Pirates on Saturday REALLY didn't help). Think they're 1.5 games out of the final wild card and would have to pass both Chicago and Miami with three games left, while those two teams both have four).
